  1. Took inspiration from ammarbm's MB2 for my Civic5 sticker placement. But for the other side I decided to use the "I Heart My MB" sticker instead. And a couple of photos because why not? The spare Civic5 sticker will be going on the MB3 by the way.

  9. Yes, I usually just use a wire brush wheel on the drill machine. I then polish with sandpaper and those sandpaper pads to get the real effect. For instance the VTEC solenoid and the engine mount were done only with the pads and sandpaper, the bolts and nuts only with the wire brush wheel. Yeah, we have a workshop (will make some pics on sunday) that we rent for 300€, but there is 3 of us, so only 100€ a month, which is not that expensive I think. We also have a lot of tools there from the workshop owner.

  10. Where's the new project "Not going to mod it too much but might do by accident and need another daily!" thread?

  11. Yeah I'm a bit excited actually. Don't know why it's not gonna break any records but I am enjoying doing bits on the car even if I haven't drove it really in about a month. Tonight I thought I'd jump on the band wagon as it seems to be mod of choice. Jdm style tail lights. The eg just had the outers lit as tail/brakes. One inner was blocked off and the other was a fog lamp. I now have the inners as tail lights too and the drivers inner still acts as fog lamp using dual filament bulb. Test fit wiring. Old vs new After drilling blocked light socket. Also painted strut brace and found A bracket to hold the super lengthy dc2 throttle cable

  12. Nick can type faster than I can so my answers behind
    1 point
  13. That's true but its not as simple as bigger more flow its how it flows and how fast it flows if you to big you slow the flow on a small engine ( unless its turbo then that's a diff ball game ) Well if you need to replace the rust part like nick says best going for a cat back system
    1 point
  14. This is true but as Dave said with just a back box you won't notice much difference, if you got a cat back system that was 2.25" or 2.5" that would make a nice difference especially if you then added a manifold and decat.
    1 point
  15. I would go 2.25 but if its just the back box then it's not going to make to much of a dif , as for power loss if it does you are not going to notice 1-3bhp on a small engine you not going to feel it . It's all down to how the new back box flows as to loss or not Nick just answered lol

  16. When you say inlet do you mean the tailpipe or the actual exhaust bore? Downpipe is the pipe from the manifold where it becomes one pipe. B pipe/middle pipe is the piece from the cat to the back box

  18. Yer all this said I was not worrying about the fuel coz she was built not for every day use just weekend fun lol , really what I wanted to build was a GT type of mental honda so you could do long trips if I want but also be like a mental type R like they used to be dc2 a sort of all rounder . So she goes mmmmmmmmmm grandad drive and a then hit the pedal and all hell breaks loose and NO TURBO going on under the bonnet. Do not get me wrong I love boost ,turbo or super charged but you just got to love N/A tooooooooooooooooooooo so sometime after 5000rpm you go holy shxx

  19. Ah! Well your handywork is appreciated. Almost forgot I wasn't in the EU7. Better make a habit of not getting close to kerbs in car parks now.

  23. Think it's best too yer there are a few things you can poss get away with ,but do you really want to spend all that money and drive around thinking if any what so ever happens you loose the lot . Also if things go bad and they say well your insurance is void coz you never told them could be bad you would be driving with out insurance now that's not going to go down well

  28. MB3 mani would need to go as it is a catifold (manifold and cat in one) not a manifold so Sir Little Nick Esq's suggestion sounds the best route..

  34. Got it. Tapering nuts... New tyres tomorrow, then tinkering time. Hopefully my MG ZS trim parts will arrive today, so I have the weekend to tinker and get my interior re-assembled.

  35. So my front tyres were completely bald on the inside. I went to pick up a rear bumper the other day as mine is slightly damaged and the guy was selling part worn tyres also. Found 4 Bridgestone Turanza 205/45/16 tyres all with 6mm tread on them. Got 4 for £70 which I think is a bargain. Felt so much better on the road compared to my bald tyres Tracking time. . Hopefully that will sort the problem of tyres getting bald on inside. He said my track rod ends were fine. Currently I am refurbing my dust caps and centre caps and got one more thing planned for the wheels so hopefully they will look even better once completed

  46. So another update for you lovely people. Spent most of the weekend a while back cleaning the car and can you believe it, Installing my new Headlights So they are so much nice than my old set . out with the old in with the new. decided to take the front end of and rewire everything and make the fogs more flush aswell and to test out my new lights which work a treat. EVIL once all installed I started my long cleaning job as A good clean was defiantly needed. the last job of the day was to fit my stuke winglets which i need to remove the stuke sticker and make my own but apart from that they dont look to bad. and to finish a nice handful of photos of the car all happy minus the grill in some pics, as its having a small refurb.

  49. That's the thing. I am worried about the list getting too big ahha. I was thinking of a B, but I am not sure. Will have to wait and see about what I can pick up . They're probably the cheapest way to get it "low". You're all worrying me about the list, aha. Although one thing has bee added.. Spliter, I think it'd make the car look a little "meaner" and could look better with it. Not that I know of. I haven't had a diagnostics kit on it yet. Sure it wasn't this one? ahah . They're a car you get attatched too, i'll give you that. I haven't had mine a year and I am already attatched to it. And yes, more the outskirts of the town though. Beelsby. You know where that is? Im near enough always down lady smith road. Supprised I have not seen it yet... Cheers. I'll have a look into that and cheers for the advice . And i'll have a look for that, thanks .
