  1. I feel the same as you guys. The car has got under my skin otherwise I'd have cut my losses long ago, and at least I know that I've now got a much better car underneath.

  4. Totally agree. Great cars and are worth looking after. Forget others who see it as a 'Rover' or whatever, these cars are under rated...and i like that in a car as we know, as owners, that they are great, fast, practical cars with a good size boot for family stuff!

  5. A Co-founder of civic5, my wife and civic5 moderator crazzzydawn sadly passed away 21/1/2013. Dawn was my life, and loved getting involved with civic5. She made so many friends on here, who shared her love of the Civic M's. Sadly, she lost her brave fight with cancer, but her memory lives on in all our hearts. Dawn in her favourite place...... a Civic M! It was Dawn who got me into Hondas with the first one she had, a wee MB2 in white (S322 DKS) wonder where it is now? Dawns big love was her Civic Aerodeck 1.6ES, and she spent a lot of time making it unique. It was the car she'd always wanted, and was so happy when she got it! It's now kept in my garage, and only ventures out on sunny days, down to see Dawn, the odd camping trip and to civic5 meets and car shows. Her baby is now my baby, and will be turned into a show car, with everything looking as new on her. Know it's what she would have wanted and it's such a lovely car to drive. Dawn was always into cars, and loved all the motor sports too. A right wee petrol head. Her sense of humor was amazing too, as all those who met her will testify! A genuine, loving, caring and honest hard working soul, she will always be missed. R.I.P. Dawn x x x x

  11. Mine is much better than it was! Still got a little more to do but money constraints has slowed progress which is hard for me to deal with given the pace I had been going at with replacing parts and making the car less of a scrapper! But least she's good for my occasional treks across the country!

  13. Yes! Even if you only use each for 6 months at a time! Come October you'll be able to tax a car as little as a month at a time!

  17. Thats orginal ! lol Thing is with most of these cars, the reasons for owning are beyond cost .. (is for me anyway) i had a much newer car that was cheaper on tax and insurance and was in good nick .. But it isnt one of these .. I see what you mean about others bodges, would be fustrating, but that down to trying to get the history of the car when you buy .. And also, general wear & tear items are the perfect time fo rupgrades
