  1. Nice same as mine ,yep a twist sender type will be needed lol now one thing you may find it hard to twist it in with the new rubber and I mean hard it had two of us one to press it down while one tapped it around with a screw driver and hammer . One thing to do is drop the rubber in a cup of very hot water to make it soft may help did for me . O and just test the sender before you do put it in coz if its a hard fit god help you getting back out lol

  2. I think it's a good point in principle, but think it will be difficult for it to work. It would mean that before any newer members entered a car belonging to someone else, they would need to go looking back through the list of last years cotm winners. It's sometimes hard enough getting folk to read the basics of the site, but to make sure they have done their homework before entering a car for the comp will be very hard. The thing is, the comp isn't based on the car thats had the most/latest mods over a certain time frame, it's just all about members seeing a particular car they really like, or indeed their own car. But I think a lot of members think that because they havent maybe done a lot of mods to their car, they can be reluctant to enter their own car. Which is sad, as theres a hella lot of members joined recently with relatively standard civics that are ultra clean. It doesnt matter what your cars like, or one that you like the look of........if you like it, enter it chaps (and chappess's) Every car in this club is worthy of winning the competition imo

  5. Ok so poly bushes are on! started out getting the old bushes out of the Alloy arms i had which was much less painful than i was expecting we then however discovered that the bushes i had didnt fit the arms as they are narrower than the stock arms and the new bushes are designed for the stock ones RIGHT! stock arms it is!...... what a pain the arse that was..... 3 hours a side and 13 drill bits broken, just to get the old bushes out! here's what the old ones looked like.... however once they were out getting the new ones in was fairly painless and here's the arm back on the car what a difference! between this and having the tracking done and dropping the ride height at the front the car is handling like its on rails now! Now whats limiting my speed in the corners is the seats lol, i have absolutely no doubt the car can do it faster but i get plastered up against the window if i go round a bend too quick I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Jamie Love who put in a massive amount of time while i was at work Next small update! Went to see Dave and DD on Tuesday for a bit of a bleather and Dave very kindly after seeing my tatty steering wheel offered me one he had sitting in the garage! so 10 mins later and Ruby's Original wheel is in my car thanks again @Dave thats all for now but hopefully there will be a big update on brakes very soon!
