  2. I just felt that the setup seemed too 'soft' and constantly adjusting the shocker stiffness didn't seem right.....until I remembered Krzys saying something about him adjusting the preload...which got me onto this thread! I will adjust preload when weather is better. Then it should be how I like it...only taken me a year to figure this out

  5. What a classy looking wee MB2. I love the work carried on this so far, especially the arch work! And the VTi-S lip kit goes nicely with those rims too. Good job mate

  6. Speaking of number plates. Would import (12x6) pressed plates look too small on our Aerodecks? Loving the grill by the way Maz

  10. Thanks mate Cheers buddy.. Yeah black shows the dirt more but the shine compared to silver is insane and the reflection is crazy .. Only needs some spray and shine and a cloth to clear all the dirt and bring the shine out

  12. You can adjust the preload and the height, top lock ring is for preload only, Meister set this to about 10mm of preload when they assemble them. Reducing the preload softens the ride and allows a bit more roll. Best way I found to measure the preload is to undo the top ring until the spring just rests on it but has no play when you try to move it by hand up or down. Then move the other lock ring to sit with the top on but not tight. Then add preload until the gap between the two top rings is whatever you want, 5mm, 10mm etc. My happy medium was 5mm gap. Once you've set it then do the second ring tight with the top ring. Hope this makes sense and I hope it's helpful!

  17. Haven't been in the deck (apart from many swapping of ecu and fault reading) since before Christmas) so took her for a spin this morning because the battery was a bit on the flat side. Did a bit of whoring as well to show off some of the new blue additions and because I'd washed her the other day.

  19. Oh dear The infamous calipers bite back (or not in your case!) I always grease the pins on all the calipers at every oil change, lowers the chances of fronts seizing on. Replaced all the rear calipers on mine so its ok until I sell in couple of years hopefully.
