  1. Cheers! I somehow got the colour match spot on. More pre-Meister R updates! Got my goodies from hong Kong this morning. Two Genki Racing Project stickers, a bonus Enkei sticker that I didn't order (I suppose it works since Enkei make our OEM wheels right?) and a fatarse Pikachu. Pikachu installed. He doesn't realise the horrors that are yet to come. Maybe once I get the Meisters on he'll be able to touch the floor. The face of pure innocence.

  2. Ok so the turtle mobile has gone to the scrapyard in the sky and has been replaced by a white r reg civic aerodeck She is a pretty spotless example with 149k on the clocks with a few mods done already. De-chromed headlights with black indicator JDM rear lights lowered Full vti interior so a good base to start from with lots of plans already and loads of the parts from the old mb to put into this one Pics to follow once i have the time and will keep this one updated Then started the mods

  9. Battery wouldn't cause those symptoms. That's possibly related to the dizzy, it's common for them to fail, sometimes a new rotor and cap will be all it needs. I ended up changing the whole unit as water had gotten inside and corroded the electrical components On the bright side it's a ten minute job to change the whole distributor!

  10. Not sure, but I am hoping to respray and fit it before Japfest myself Thanks man, I love how it sits! I hope to do this asap seeing as I got spare bulb holers from the the other Aerodeck Thanks mate. The only time it scrapes is when I go over this one speed bump weekly. It only catches the bottom tow-eyes. I had the car up on the ramp at work last night for a visual check. The Aerodeck haven't caught anything. Even the underseal still looks fresh!

  18. So not been up to much modding recently, the s2k is having my casual quality service atm including under-seal, full poly bush upgrade, alloy respray, engine bay clean up and lots of other stuff so the poor civic hasn't had much attention over the past few months. But after a weekend of cleaning both cars its now time for the civic to get some more loving so i will start with again with the fun mods. engine mods mostly to start with until then here is a couple pics of my 2 toys Nothing can replace my love for the civic

  20. The guy came into my work before I started my shift and checked the new slave cylinder rod to make sure it wasn't bent or half in position etc. Then he looked at the clutch master cylinder rod and found that it needed adjusted. THIS solved the bite point! The bite point can't really be changed but the pedal height/position can determine where the bit is on the actual pedal (not actual clutch as its hydraulic). Simple adjustment cured it. But fitting all new parts at once does cause headaches when things go wrong as you need to narrow down to what is causing the problem. Now to my exhaust getting sorted at end of month as it has been temp welded due to fracture and ALL joining gaskets need replaced, probably due to being burnt alive! THEN need to get a Moroso sump ordered....then that should be it!

  21. Yeah mate whole kit, Lock stock the lot. The guy came into my work before I started my shift and checked the slave cylinder rod to make sure it wasn't bent or half in etc. Then he looked at the clutch master cylinder rod and found that it needed adjusted downwards. THIS solved the bite point! The bite point cant really be changed but the pedal height/position can determine where the bit is on the actual pedal (not actual clutch as its hydraulic). Simple adjustment cured it.

  22. My nice new drive shaft arrived today 😀 and they actually delivered the right part for once! It is now fitted and I've been out bedding the new clutch in, and the Ej9 gearbox is much better than my original one. And the car seems more nippy so I'm happy with it.

  23. Yeah they were 15" Jordans, look similar as Accord wheels. I like my current BBS wheels but too many problems with it so saving up for camber kit, arch roller and 50 profile tyres. I thought in the mean time I'll get 16" wheels but also planned to get EK soon and want 16" Rota Slips for it lol. So thought I'd use them wheels on my MB until EK is compete before I start driving it. I just fancied seeing pics of yours to see what they look like on an MB lol

  24. From google: "Question: Is the GSR LMA different (functionally) than the ITR LMA?Answer: NO. Just different part numbers.I just got finished do some testing on a spring tester.Pressure: 56lbs ITR v. 54lbs GSR(slightly used but sold as new).Lift Capacity: Exactly the same.Pad Diameter: 7mm on both LMA nipples. The only difference: Blue painted dot on ITR LMA." This is for GSR, but I think it should be the same for B18C4. IMHO they are both not very good. Skunk2 LMA's are better design

  26. My mate and I spent 8 hours yesterday repairing the car. I had full intentions of doing a 'how to' on this but in reality, I has too busy helping. The pictures I had taken, meant I had to wash my hands every time I needed to take a pic. I wasn't wanting to hold my mate back as we had a time schedule due to being in my workshop. I apologise but I was working that day also and was just wanting home. So no step by step guide on this one Anyway, Pressure plate fingers slightly worn; Note the piece of metal debris above the clutch disc; Worn out spring due to missing metal piece; The strip down; The magnet inside the gearbox shows sign of metal wear; Gold part is the Synchro; Time for a clean; New clutch installed; I also fitted new uprated gear linkage bushes to improve shifts. I will recommend fitting the Mfactory Synchros as the gear shifts are really flawless now. But really only if the gearbox is coming out anyway. Clutch pedal is easier but the biting point is quite high for my liking. I suppose I was used to the pedal being near the floor but this new bite point will take getting used too. Only some actual pedal height adjustments to be made now and I'm happy
