Hi all, owned my MB6 since december 2014 and thought it's about time i got myself on this forum and showed my build. here are some photo's from when i bought the car back in december. 1997 Civic VTi Pirates Black 100,000 miles ============ MG ZS V6 Shocks and Springs ZS Anti Roll Bars Cheap 4-1 Manifold De-Cat Longlife Exhaust Carbon Wrapped Dail Bezel ZS Silver Dash Trims Vti-s Full Lip Kit Oem Wheels Accord Type R Spoiler Accord Type R Interior Lights Cheap Induction Kit ============== I Originally bought the car with intentions of doing what most people do with MB's and that's rip the engine out and stick it into an EG Civic, however over the months of owning this car. i have somewhat fallen in love with everything about it, and as you do when you find the right car you plow loads of money into it! am i right ?1 point

Thanks for the replies. @Grant thought as much - you never get what you put in. @Krzys apologies didn't mean for it to look like an ad. I'll have a look at advertising in the classified section now.1 point

Think I'd have to echo what Grant said. Under the new rules if you want you can advertise it in the classifieds on here? (Tab at the top) There's a small fee though.1 point

If you want functional fogs, get yellow halogens. If you just want to be you, get 12000K HIDs.1 point

Yup absolutely! The biggest diff for me that i've seen though is a quick go over with the machine polisher! Un REAL,, You can literally see nothing put pure purple fleck directly in the sunlight ATM .. No swirls ..1 point

Glad to see another one has managed to convince a potential donor to a keeper! They are massively underated mate and surprise ALOT of larger/more powerful/smaller, less weight cars!1 point
-
Yeah I'm sure it has. Thing is though, doesn't even really need a compound! You'll see on sat that just a machine with normal polish has got it gleaming!1 point

One piece of the puzzle turned up... have to say I'm happy with it much better made than that crap I still haven't been refunded for. Will have forgotten where all the bolts go by time this bearing turns up :/1 point

Thanks for the link @Krzys but that method didn't work.. I tried pasting the Direct link from Photobucket but it wasn't working.. I have posted the URL link from my mobile now and you can watch it on Photobucket now.. Hope you all like it1 point

Thanks for that Tom, your car sits nicely on that setup! I'm still undecided at the moment - I have seen some sets of springs for around the £130 mark. Mine isn't quite as pretty as yours, but want to try and improve her visually on a budget. Losing the arch gaps/clear side repeaters and doing away with the chrome grille and trim are the jobs coming up over the next few weeks,1 point

And a quick one of the brace. Needs a desperate clean under the bonnet!1 point

And then today, took the wheels upto @phill1975 had the tyres swapped and stuck em on! Love it now, stance is exactly how I wanted/hoped it would be. These are 15x7j et 35. Also had my front VTis lip properly sprayed. I'd consider myself pretty good with a can, anyone who sees the wheels close would agree, but I cannot match PB from a can! Just can't get it! So well worth sending it away. A quick once over with the machine polisher ready for next week too. Coat of wax, she's looking her best again! And finally, added a tigewa 3 point front brace, matches to the bay perfectly and tightens the front up nicely. Quite a noticeable difference actually! Impressed. Thanks to @Chandler again! Ill let the pics do the rest of the talking! Phil hard at work!!1 point

Bloody uploads and their iffy rotations!!! Then on to the lacquer. Love how this brings it out. And for those wondering, yes, it's the same gunmetal I did the standards in. Obligatory baking with the sitting room fire1 point

Next, next was wheels! Been after something with a better filament. Debated a set of JR's but saw these come up and eBay, and with a little photoshop help from Jake, it had me sold. This is how they arrived. Paint looked ok from a distance. But get up close, it was as if they'd done it with a brush! But they were a good price and the chap posted them for free! Trial fitment. Off to @Chandler for some blasting, cheers mate!! There was an absolutely heroundeous 'plastic' coating on them that you just couldnt get off by hand sanding! This made it much easier! Started on the primer. Quick rub down and colour coat.1 point
