thanks guys just picked up my exhuast today for it and fitted it sounds soooooooo much better will get the videos up of all my exhaust sounds soon as possible. its a old Jag tom been in the family longer than i have but it needs alot of TLC

Alright p**s taker. Not always on forum I do work ya know Probably a short somewhere. Guess start when you get into the fog light check the lead from the lamp isn't shorting on the case. Or anything else obvious

Do ya have a selection of screw driver bits?? You may find a particular bit grips better and doesn't chew it? failing that maybe butcher/drill the tops off the screws and try and twist with pliers. And put new screws in?

no cracks I don't think, that may be the case well I cleaned it again and tightened the light bolts up real tight because they were quite loose so will see... thanks for the replies!

not 100% but im sure from catback all mb models will have the same routing system as there all on the same chassis so mounting points for the rubber hangers should be the same and also the routing of the rear section over the rear axle may be slightly different due to design of the silencer but i would expect them to fit

Essentially the same thing once you've trialed and error'ed to get it set up correctly!

I'm lucky that I was shown how to weld by guys that use to build ships etc so they knew what they were on about. My trade is a mechanical engineer and my previous employer didn't like us welding as they had their own welders. One thing i was told tho is that welding is just a skill, the more you practice the better you'll get. Once you learn what to look for and how to control the weld it becomes easy. YouTube is good for advice and tips!

Haha some one once told me that was a air reserve for vtec lol. But yeah seriously Its Probs just a resonator. I have a d16 intake tube lying about and that has a bung in it.
