Decided to give the fiesta bonnet catch idea a miss. Been told it can look really bodged and if possible try and avoid it. I did provide Pete with the upgraded plastic cross piece for my bonnet lock but it's still playing up. It opens 80% of the time but still fails so we think the locking mechanism itself is shot. So decided to go aero catch. I want them to be quite discreet so got some in white. And as I'll be removing the standard lock I got some locking ones. Next step is to decide where to put them. Originally not the look I'm going for but should aid to an aggressive front end when I've got the wire grills done and smoked headlights. Still running my engine in. Only covered about 330 miles so a long way to go yet before I can open her up and update on how the hybrid feels.

I've had this worth mine as well (know of other members that have too). It doesn't seem to be as bad as it was, but sometimes it would start to work after giving the fan a knock.

i already have coilovers without the top mounts, i was hoping to use the old ones but with new rubbers

So have been flat out and forgot to update this ha il sort pictures out again but engine bay is finished flushed amd sprayed ha waiting on engine to come back from the machine shop and I've had re bumper sprayed and the full wagon Undersealed including inside the arches And some where along the lines I managed to pick up an ek9 rolling shell in baby blue for 300 quid with a log book all panels looms and dash And zero rust so I'm working on the two now Il get pictures up as soon as I can

Hi everyone, mu orders didnt arrive yet. But My fried inspected the rotor and he saw it was burned. He cleaned it with a knife and it improved a bit, it seems it is the rotor. Monday i think my order will arrive and i will change the rotor too see how it goes

Right after a busy christmas and new year thought its time to post an update....... The last of my items should be arriving next week sometime, then the build can be started. Heres a few items have arrived thanks to ebay, MeisterR and Toyosport. will post up more as it arrives As soon as i have a dry day im going to start removing items and prepping it for engine out.
