  2. Nothing at all, Rang the guy I sold it to, He sold it to this guy who basically gutted the inside and has seemed to do nothing with it, Shame as it was mint, I even managed to get the aircon working it was ice cold, The body work was covered in wax, I stupidly sold it for a fn2 type r, I just could not get on with it, Brill to drive but just wasn't me, Sold the type r after a few months and bought a vw t4 camper instead, Did more mileage in 3 weeks in the van than I did in 3 months of owning the type r,

  3. Mine is a 5 door. When I get some pictures I'll figure out how to upload them. I'll soon be making a list of parts I require to get it back to looking how it should

  4. I had a rear seat belt on the TypeR FN2 that got soaking wet, but seat was bone dry as was rest of the car! Eventually tracked it down to the seal under the plastic roof/gutter rails. had stripped the whole rear of the car out at that point trying to trace it!! Bloody new cars are a mare to take apart! Might well be under the plastic roof gutter strips, I had DD's off earlier this year tracing a leak and there was a tiny pin hole (hardly could see it) in the sealant around the bolts for the roof rails. If you can get them off without breaking them thats where I'd look. Could be a small break/hole in the sealer, letting it run down the inside of the B pillar and into belt real (or spool or whatever it's called)?

  5. So sad to see you breaking the deck mate, been with you and in this club for a very long time and always loved this one. Out of interest, what did you get as your modern daily? The VTiS kit does go for decent money now. Think that's a fair price for the lips and spoiler without the skirts. If you don't get them sold or decide to sell them separate, I'd be interested in the rear lip. I did have the full kit for DD, got the front lip sprayed and fitted, got the side skirts ready to go, but some sod stole the rear lip from the side of my shed at our old house! Bloody gutted! So been on the lookout for a replacement one. Be nice to see how she fares on the track though, so at least not a total end for her. Will enjoy her new life as a track car I think!

  6. I was thinking about some" diy improvement" of oem ones because I changed them like 2 years ago and its not that much for mounts to break i think yep I had PU engine mounts before and it was a vibration rave party no thanks

  7. I think that's an unusual faul tbh. There normal robust enough. But if you want to change regardless. Hard race do them all beit similar design with a harder rubber. Or there's hasport mounts which are nice CNC machined. I use these and Inteoduce a little vibration into the car. Then there the eBay specials which are often similar to hasports. But I had a set few years back. Took them off after one day as too hard.
