Not had chance to get some proper pics with the rain and stuff but hey I managed to fit a 98 spec s80 gearbox, lightened flywheel and a stage 3 clutch. The car feels so much more lively now cannot believe the difference its made.

Just looked at a thread with the same question and got this bit of info...

If you want to put spacers on the originals they'd have to be hubcentric ones too so in theory you could use them for both sets of wheels, least that way you can keep the DC2 wheels on as you are while you refurb the OEM alloys!

There's a good chance it's the spacers causing the vibration. Try replacing them with better hubcentric ones

I'm not a fan of the 96 spec wheels either, think you need hubcentric spacers if the ones you put on weren't already? Possibly bigger too! On Philgor's for sale ad he had 5mm ones.

I didn't take any chap but the car will probably be in the air again soon for a service so will take one then if I remember, nothing wrong with copying, it's a worth-while mod!

I was watching the Arny classic "True lies" last night and spotted this gem!

Haha not just yet! I'm fixing before I go spending loads on mods! Yes that is exactly it! Though I wouldn't want to see the Civic break in two like the ship did as it sank! Anyway, couple of bits done last night, new backbox fitted and the MGZS ARB went on too! This was my old blocked backbox! The MG ARB New vs Old rattly backboxes ARB going on All done! I reckon I may have a blocked fuel filter though, I was driving the car to put strain on it, 5th gear at 20ish mph and full throttle and she was coughing and spluttering then would die, I lifted off while still in gear and let her coast then she'd bump back into life. So planning a big service to elimate the basics!
