Don't worry about the head gasket mate will be fine. It was all down to the thermostat common on civics.

I would say the leak was windscreen or aerial

I would say no! Only because you will see all the sticky due. For example when you put a sticker on your car window looks good from the outside but when u look in side u can see the sticky bits!

The 1.3 won't have a ecu it's a carb and has a manual choke

Colour code it put it in the lens don't stick it back together and put light on your car! If no good sand it spray it black!
