    The start motor has to come off to take the gearbox so I would say yes that bolt could be a prob

    Doesn't the bolt go into a square welded nut?could be wrong thou So cutting the head off won't solve it? I had trouble with my deck and my bro had his heated etc still wouldn't come out lol

    Don't think it matters if its a 2 wire as your not running your 1.4 loom or ecu so the one u have on there should be right for the b16 and ecu. Prob needs cleaning or replacing quite common

    If u just want springs then u can get them on eBay under mb6 or 1.8 vti. You should be able to get a harness not worrys have u tried halfords .

    What do you mean by touchy? Have you checked your disks and pads? Also cables maybe stretched might need new ones

    As above keep it safe as u use them to read fault codes on ur ecu and abs etc
