Shame I've binned those springs I offered. The rears would be spot on for you. What a great job you done on the wheels mate. Wish I was brave enough to paint stuff like that. Too impatient I'd mess up

Must admit mines a bit peculiar without power steering. I can live with it but even fast driving steering is very hard after a point. Like turning into a roundabout at speed. Was considering looking for a new rack and lines and refitting ps. Looking forward to pics! Oh and thanks for cam plug!

If you're gonna sand and paint. Chances are it will come back eventually I reckon.if all the offending stuff is cut out and replaced. Painted. Stone chipped underneath etc blah blah. Should be a long lasting repair

It's a vent to allow a little airflow in a bid to stop condensation. Doesn't do its job very well.. as condensation inside the arches is often what causes them to rust inside out. Could probably do with a vent the other side but there isn't one

Think Halford s might be hit and miss as they employ teenagers and give them half hour training on mixing the paint. Every time I've asked for a specific colour in the Leicester one they may as well have given me pink was so far out. Always order off net now.

Nobs about the tyres. Nothings simple is it. Ain't that hard to differentiate between 1 tyre and 2 tyres -

Ooh mate love the new rims. I enquired about those tuning boxes for my mazda. There just a resistor.. but apparently they do work just can cause a lot of sooty smoke from the exhaust. Seems good for the money -
I drove my mb6 like that for a year. Never got worse for me and was only on full lock. Replaced shaft when did engine swap. It'll be your outer cv 99% of the time. There is very little movement on the inner cv whilst turning. But like you said get someone to have a butchers if you can't diagnose yourself

Damn that's nice. There was a c6 one for sale on eBay a while back. Massive spec sold for about 8 grand iirc

Click turning right. That'll be ya left shaft then. 40 quid for shaft from jr would be a good shout.

Having said that a friends ej9 was done and they lasted about 6 months and started going. Cheap crap job I reckon.

My arches have been cut out and replaced. Inner arch too. £400. They are perfect no rust yet. I even looked inside recently and still good as gold

Awesome what data can be read from the ecu?? Manifold pressure? Intake temp?

Think that was problem with my old black eu8. Felt so slow probably because it far too many airbags and A crumple zone or something

In fact that same d16 is now 280bhp turbo little beasty.

Amazing how a little bit more power makes all the difference. Even the d16 that was in my eg originally was pretty good. Revvy and 125bhp give or take 20 odd years!
