    New daily

Bit the bullet today and bought a new daily. We kinda need 7 seats now and our Eu8 civic was tired. They don't build them like they used too shall we say and at 128k miles it has had its day. So here's the replacement. Mazda 5 2.0d. Quite pleased about it. One owner. Full history etc etc. Loads a gadgets compared to what I'm used too.
  3. A mate of mine had a straight through center pipe and only a back box from powerflow. Was £260
  4. Check everything over. Throttle cable n all that jazz. Failing that vac leak? tps? Iacv? With thermostat being located kinda under throttle body. Have a good look make sure you haven't disturbed anything by mistake.
  5. I'm in same boat apart from my wife gives kids back to there mums at 5pm. So we been looking at Honda frv and mazda 5. Been ringing about a 5 locally and the t****rs never pick up the phone
  6. I'm not good with words.. what I'm trying to say is don't worry. But worth checking it and setting up properly
  7. Well the idea is that the air/fuel mix is detonated at just the right time to create the most efficient use of compression and the mix. If its way out then some problems can occur. Suppose the biggest being Detonation. As the fuel could be ignited whn the cylinder is becoming smaller the explosion will cause a huge shock to the piston, rod, bearings etc. To check. Bridge the diagnostics connector to stop the ecu tinkering with it. Then use a timing light. There's a 4 marks on crank pulley. Tdc and 14,16,18 degrees before tdc. 16 is optimal. I wouldn't be concern about it even if it is out. ecu can compensate. And it's not like we're boosted up or anything
  8. Is that the guy that does random ms paint master pieces??? Genius! Any way grant it's all about the PB by looks of it!!
  9. B pipes the same. The one in that pic above has been cut. Back section needs extending and the hangers moved
  10. The bigger the number the finer it is. It's all about sandy bits per inch. So 180 has 180 coarse bits per inch. 1200 has 1200 finer bits per inch. Something like that anyway
  11. Looking cool. Lights look so much better ay
  12. Or a kitchen tap blank. I used those to cover the manual window holes in my rear door cards. Would be perfect for rear wiper too.
  13. The cars are different externally. Your not gonna get the mirrors on without hacking them about or tiger bonding them on somehow. Coilovers either will do. Eg will need a few washers on the bottom fork
  14. What an awesome idea. Sounds like great stuff. What do you think? Could say cover your wheels for the winter. Stop the crap getting at them. Then peel off for the summer.
  15. Looked good I had no spoiler on either. Just pulled the plastic in the boot. Un bolted the motor. Then a Glued a Piece Of Hard Plastic Under The Hole. Bit of filler on the top and some sanding obviously. Then paint it or in my case I vinyl wrapped the boot.
  16. Not much ek stuff is gonna be compatible with an m. Chassis wise there based on an eg. As for the other bits you can swap mg Zs bits about.
  17. Good stuff man. Is the plastidip quite hard wearing then til you pick at it??
  18. I took the rear off of mine. Not the fronts though there useful
  19. Mb4 will have eg lca, but the shock bush Is narrow like an ek.
  20. Stress with the pothole situation. Seems to be the same All over the country. Hope its not caused to much damage. Don't sell the car over it though cos the same would happen to any car.
