Haha I have only just noticed that the twat who painted the car has painted the number plate lights. Lazy b*****d. Lol. Suprised I've not been pulled

Yeah I'm a bit excited actually. Don't know why it's not gonna break any records but I am enjoying doing bits on the car even if I haven't drove it really in about a month. Tonight I thought I'd jump on the band wagon as it seems to be mod of choice. Jdm style tail lights. The eg just had the outers lit as tail/brakes. One inner was blocked off and the other was a fog lamp. I now have the inners as tail lights too and the drivers inner still acts as fog lamp using dual filament bulb. Test fit wiring. Old vs new After drilling blocked light socket. Also painted strut brace and found A bracket to hold the super lengthy dc2 throttle cable

Ooya they should be perfect style for your car. Good stuff man. Like it

Week today for tune. Gives me a chance to sort a few bits out. Oil change and idle is a tad high. Bout 900rpm. Coul probably sort that on map though. Oh and need to do ignition timing

Switch is fine on mine. I've swapped switches. I started off with multi meter. Like I say if I open door alarm goes off. If I leave lights on and get out buzzer goes off. Just no light. Doesn't flash just nothing. I suspected something had been cut but I can't find anythjng

Evos are 510cc. I was going to use them but sold to another user here They are very easy to fit. But require resistor box.

Hey hey. Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I've had a look and can't see any obvious issues. But since having my alarm fitted the interior light doesn't work via drivers door. He told me at the time my door switch was faulty. It's not. Alarm works. Headlight buzzer works. Switch is fine just no interior light. Light works with passenger door open. Anyone familiar with Interior light wiring?? Or am I gonna have to go through service book and get technical. Thanks for any help

Alternatively what I did when I first setup my car was go to a hardware shop with one of each of what bolts I needed then bought everything in stainless. Cost less than a tenner do all engine bay and rear lca -

Yeah its OK to spend if makes ya happy. Man I dread to think what I've spent over the years on small stuff really. Some people spend tens of thousands on engine builds etc!! Crazy. Those skunk bolts will fit headlights wings and most bits really. I have some cheaper ones but the red anodizing just wears off very quickly -
Amazing job mate. looks great.
-
Yes they are super tasty wheels.
-
I'll ring up tomorrow see what he can do
-
Love your car man. Looks amazing so fresh in red. Not a fan of your new wheels but sure it will look amazing
-
Nah I haven't mate. Probably not the best idea to give it beans? Quite a lot changed over night. Well maybe one little squirt won't hurt.

Yeah outside my house. Not ideal at all was windy as well. So probs loadsa little bits of stuff blown in engine. Oil and filter change after a few miles I reckon. Hmm Halford advance tools i'm not impressed. I now have 3 bits to take back and the 3/8 ratchet was replaced after first use. Bit poo.
-
Yes a ratchet screwdriver. Came in a huge socket and spanner set tho
-
Someone asked for a running video.. So quick one I did. Excuse me scuffs. Civic b18:
-
It was a large screwdriver thing that you can put sockets and all sorts on. Snapped just before the bit so the end with a bit on fell.
-
V nice would love one of those air boxes. Bit pricey for me tho every time I look.
-
Yeah I'm well p**sed at the tools. Baugh the set on offer seemingly good value as it's all lifetime warranty. 4 things have broke first use now. Fair enough they will replace them. But it's not good enough. Like today if broken piece hadn't of dropped down would have been done in an hour and a half not 5. And I wouldn't have had my wheel off for it to fall and get damaged.. ahhhhh
-
Cams are in was a pain. Cus one of these shut Halford tools snapped and fell down timing belt cover meaning a full strip down was in order to retrieve it. Whilst doing that the wheel I'd took off to get at crank fell over and chipped and scratched the paint. Oops. But it's all working again. Reset valve clearances and fitted all new seals Inc skunk 2 end seal. Sorry not many pics been busy

Sounds good ya. Growls

Looking good dude.. still waiting for your video to load.. ah there it is
