  1. The Honda bit doesn't worry, just I built it with a fisher price tool kit
  2. Just done a trip to Leeds. Furthest the car has bin. Never skipped a beat. Pulls like a train even in 5th to be fair. Its a good tune. Bags of torque. Just one problem, damn my ears are ringin!!
  3. You may be able to help the window. With a little silicone grease in the runners. Definately helped on my old mb. Often the mechanism bolts are loose too which doesn't help. The clunk I think is normal as these cars get old. My eg driver door does it too.
  4. Does look great. De spoilered!! Big winner for me! And love the custom bits. Different
  5. You shouldn't need a press. Take a blow lamp to old bushes then the metal part will knock out with a few good hits. Energy ones just push in by hand. Easy peasy
  6. Defo need an eg 92-95 set. Arb bushes wont fit tho.. Ihave energy trailing arm bushes in now. All well and good but I'm positive they make the car unstable under hard braking. Back end slides all over the shop when slamming the anchors on!
  7. Crome is really good. My car is tuned on Crome gold. There's not a lot it cant do. Even plug ins for boost control if turboed or whatever. Good stuff
  8. sometime next week i will be receiving some goodies. will have to wait and see what gowonin when the tax runs out next month!
  9. What I was getting at with shafts tho. Was when the cars lowered the shafts dont always Like there natural position and can bind a little. So was thinking if you got height adjustable Coolies. Try raising the car an inch at the front. Rule it out.
  10. Dynodaze in hinckley. Very knowledgable and helpful
  11. im saying.... accord type s or wrx estate. both lovely. quick and practical
  12. have you tried the car at different heights? possible binding driveshaft??? droplinks knock but obviously unlikely as your saying speed sensitive. do you have appropriate spigot rings for your wheel and i assume wheel nuts are tight? best i can come up with at this time of night, falling sleep
  13. I'd imagine you could set them near stock height. But if it makes you feel better. My mb6 was looooow and I used it daily. Last September we took a 400 odd mile round trip, with push chairs, bedding, clothes, tent, food... Everything but the kitchen sink so they say. Still perfectly practical.
  14. Ooh that paint incident is somewhat perturbing!! Not good. As mentioned above for ya Coolies, make sure youve got two spare m10 hi tensile bolts with nylocs. so.e ten quid spring compressors will suffice (I've used mine maybe ten times now still good) And have a grinder, lump hammer and a punch of some sort handy incase lca bolts are stuck. its a very simple procedure. With practise I can do one corner in around 20 mins now. Obviously first time gonna take a while.
  15. Well thanks for that comment its nice for positive feedback!! I used a p28. H tune socketed and added Iab components (do converted to a p72 basically) Then c**ked up a basemap for it. All sorted after a tune.
  16. Worth a shot ay. The bearing in the dizzy can wear aswell. So possible a new dizzy is in order. I fitted that hawk kit in my mb6. Really good kit. Always worked a treat and from about a mile away too!
  17. Wow I need to get a go pro!! Vids are awesome. What exhaust you got on. Sounds lovely and flames too. My car pops like nothing on earth but no flames I dont think
  18. Messing with clocks is a nightmare. The day I had to find and resolder the fine hair wires to the motors still haunts me. Hope you sort it they do look grear
  19. I concur with castrol oil. Used it once and was fine cold but if you switched engine off hot and then back on few mins later, got a real nasty tick . Couple of blips and went quiet again. Apparently magnatec only just meets the grade to be called semi synth. Its mostly mineral oil
  20. Very nice man. Suoer nice condition by looks of it
  21. I learnt my lesson straying away from Honda's. Yes bits go wrong now and then, but its not often the engine or gearbox let you down. not many engines would put up with regular 8k rpm hammerings with 140k miles on and still run sweet as a nut. Plus yours looks pretty damn sweet aswell
