  1. Look a bit worn to be honest and the guys photos are not the best.
  2. looking good, u tinting it?
  3. You going for front and rear?
  4. Looking clean, get a vti lip on it n wind deflectors
  5. No. Probably the es or ex executive model buddy.
  6. Yes the black wood I call it the ash trim
  7. Anniversary and pre face lift jdm have the all red seats. You get face lift jdms with the same seats as the premier though. My mates got premier carpet in red to suit this.. And a facelift bumper with facelift mugen lip to complete this.........
  8. 97-98 mb6 had the red fleck material and ash wood. 99-00 got the brighter blue material, slightly chunkier material. Also the dials are slightly different. The interior trim is the fake carbon.
  9. Premier seats make all the difference! looking sweet
  10. Budget build! Missed out on a reconditioned S80 box for £400 from a trusted seller. Gutted, can't justify £600 plus from a reliable trader! May just look for a cheap DC2 and swap the running gear into it,
  11. Well as it happens, the wind deflectors for the front windows and the sunroof turn up! Result! Leaves me with a dilemma though, I'd only want to fit the sunroof wind deflector with the door ones but I've only just fitted climair ones which I waited over 6 weeks for only a couple of days ago! Also bagged a replica red skunk 2 battery tie down and rad stay from a local guy for £15 for both. Should be picking them up on the weekend. I can't really justify paying £60++ for original parts as they are only aesthetic pieces and serve no real purpose! Have got some work to do on the car this week, going to get a quote for the body work - front lip and rear spoiler. The front lip is very matt looking and the rear spoiler has some bubbles/blistering coming through typical of Hondas of this era. If I can get these bits painted reasonably then I will also fit my new arch liners and get the bumper off to fit some smoked insert headlights too.
  12. Im guessing you mean the VTiS lip kit? Second hand or ebay for replica kit
  13. You can use an oil sandwich plate between the filter and run it off that.

    Mb2 front seats

    Yes they would fit
  15. Yeah if you chop the bumper a bit.
  16. Realised why the arch shields splattered off. When the lip was removed, it's possible nick didn't realise that the arch shield has a bolt running through it that secures it to the bumper/lip.
  17. I've bought the clutch but hasn't been fitted yet. The current one has life left in it and only slips when hot and driven hard. It will be done just a matter of getting a mechanic onto the job. I'm the sort of guy, I end up wanting to do more at the same time so was thinking about getting a S80 box and matching flywheel if I can get a good guaranteed box for around £400. The roads are very rough around here and a lot of speed bumps around. Does sound like the anti roll bar link but you can never be sure with cars so always expect the worst.
  18. That looks like a hot fix, just cut n solder the wires and remove that plug or twist and tape em up! Looking nice, I reckon the type r decal you get off ebay for a few quid would finish the calipers off. Am sure you said your not doing any mods to it! Gruppe M, Lowered, Painted alloys etc! lol
  19. Finally got my ClimAir wind deflectors. These are not as simple as they look to fit! I loosened the vertical door trims on the (b pillar) and pulled the rubbers slightly and had to reseat them all using a screw driver and a big needle I had. Also bought some OEM (hopefully) front wind deflectors and sunroof deflector off Facebook for £20 delivered, I am not holding out too much hope for these though.. But you never know! Also changed the windscreen seal as it was battered, I need to get some sealant to hold it down and keep it stuck flush then refurb it. Annoyingly the steering column had two screws missing so with the new dc2 wheel it would screech when locking the wheel, fitted the missing screws and no noise now. I'm hoping its the Front drop link/anti roll bar link that is knocking and not the coil over, the joys of a lowered car. Will need to get this sorted along with the clutch which slips when the car is very warm and been driven a while. Paintwork on the lip will be dealt with too at some point.. Next jobs are a good clean and detail, was only washed inside and out last week. Also got my smoked headlights to fit and my replacement arch shields. Couple of photos, guy who lives opposite me owns the 1.4i Sport mb. Not an enthusiast, he most likely bought it as a reliable run-around.
  20. How much for the rails? Are they genuine recaro for the mb? How much for the seats
  21. And you can use anything like copper grease etc to stop the brakes squealing. Just make sure you put it on the back of the pads not the faces..
  22. They stop vibrations and squeals buddy. Most aftermarket pads come with anti squeal backing on them already. Stops the pads moving about too as many manufacturers use the same pads for different models and they aren't always a snug fit!
