    When I had mgzs I had Eibach springs for an MB and that's what I'd recommend. Stick with -40mm that should give you a combined drop of 55-60mm, which is nice. If and when you do that I would think about investing in coilovers. Not a massive amount, no. If you use the standard 180 springs they will be under-compressed due to the engine weight difference.

    That's annoying mate but you're right, there's no point in getting upset or arguing with them, you just have to suck it up. At least they were decent too, it does vary no matter how contrite you are some just like to try and goad you. It is rather easy in the M, when you change up from 3rd and find you're doing a smidge under the ton.

    Plastidip is expensive but you don't need any prep, primer or lacquer.
