  1. Do you live/buy it from the high wycombe area coz i swear ive seen this parked at a pub near me loads of times ?? Looking really nice bit jealous in fact
  2. Wheel adapters made but discovered 2 of the chamfers on the wheels arent as big as the others, need a quick face to get them flush.
  3. Small update, got the rear rings off but the fronts are solid, will have to cut them off, ordered a load of new bits, 4 x rubber boots, C spanners and 2 x front spring rings which in total cost more than the coilovers themselves!! got the them from Japshop, they do a gd range of spings in different weights, could be worth getting stronger/weaker springs will have to do my research on what setup works best. Found out my rear arb is 16mm, listing said mg zs/45, i cant be bothered to send it back but i want the 20mm really soo ive order polybush mounts, new drop links for it, also from Rimmerbros i got new front arb rubber mounts, 8 x bushes that 4 aside! I think in 2 weeks ill order my new tyres, seen blackcirles doing falken's for £55 each not bad all around a gd tyre from what i remember.....
  4. Great build! Just a shame i cant see most of the pics dont know if its my laptop but i can only see the new engine bits in the 1st page What power did it make at the wheels ? Oh would u build me the same engine but without the charger ????

  6. just watched a vid how they are adjusted, will check them tomorrow, been reseaching how to release stuck rings, looks like heat them up and hit them round, i hope they dont break, they are £45 each new.

Coilovers came, in a bit of a state, feel a bit ripped off, all the threads are rusty, all the rubber boots are knackered, the top hat bushes are shot, doing my best to de-rust the threads, had a go at undoing one of the 2 locking rings and they did move a bit but thats not good, i was given coilovers before & the rings had been in the same place for so long that the rings had to be smashed off as it was solid! No spanners either, he said they were damper adjustable but i cant see how they can be adjusted, i texted earlier today and asked how to do it and no reply yet... Got the last 2 weeks off next month, will be fitting all the parts i got

  9. Made the first adapter ring for the wheels, they have a huge chamfer on the inside & only locate on the nuts, so a normal spigot ring wont do the job just got 3 more to make! Big news i got the new job at mazak in worcester, should start on 1 of september and the money is so much more than im getting now! Means more bits!
  10. Acid dipped and wire wheeled the brackets, came out ok, cant decide to use them or make my own ones ? Oh and couple more pics of the new rim on new brakes

  12. i checked it its fine lol Ill post pics of the acid dipped brackets tomorrow, booked the courier for coilovers for tuesday yay i plan to strip them down, clean the threads and re paint the springs
  13. Might have some damper adjustable D2 coils on the way, they are used, springs a bit rusty but he says they are only a year old. and a gd price and if they are as gd as they should be will do my civic a treat!
  14. Oh have you, no one said anything to me lol i cant see any why there should be any difference, but still would be gd to get an expert know it all anwser on this! I havent fitted mine as i only the brackets 2 days ago so ill let u know lol if the bonnet needed more cold air it would have been raised from factory or have vents
  15. i just got my mg rear arb, i got the brackets from a guy breaking a mb6 on ebay, i think i might make new L brackets but not sure yet. Looks gd bit of a sleeper which i like and decent power too! Oh that bonnet is broken, you what to do to fix it lol
  16. haha thats fine if your 12 thats all im saying Doing the brakes at the mo, discovered the windows dont go down fully after fitting my new speakers, i will have to cut/mod the original moulds...
  17. I always make sure they are uk only, look at the feedback and comments, look at the description make its got a gd layout with decent english, some say they are uk based but it comes from china! And to make they are the right ones, message the seller and send him the details of ur mb6 to make they are correct. Cross your fingers lol
  18. Hahaha now ive done it Arb brackets came, taking them to work to strip the rust off so i can make my own or if they aint too bad might re-enforce them. Interview went well, massive company, ill have to stay up there in the week and go back at the weekend till im settled and i think we will move up there but will find out next week!

  20. It will do for now and thats all i had, id like to get the lips diamond cut but not sure on how round they are, im not so keen on bright 'look at my stupid coloured wheels' look, i like bronse, copper and black. You what they say, once you go black, you cant do back! haha
