  1. Coz it's sooo good I want to make sure people see the 2nd post incase they miss the 1st post Thanks @Jayhoath83, i will try that method too
  2. Rear de-chromed and fitted. I sprayed it Pirates Black but then white spots started appearing.. I know what it is, the last person who used the spray gun didn't clean it! Still looks good ok though

  4. I gotta get myself a rear ARB!!! My next mod Have you undersealed the deck? Looks very clean under there
  5. I thought about entering but there are a few more stuff I want to fit first...
  6. Mmm... I will have another look at the spoiler tomorrow. I will try the Tipex solution @UnicyclingTom I sprayed up the rear reg chrome bit thingy today. Pics will follow
  7. It is good! It's good for everyone! Fitting a spoiler on my mb3 was easy as that had markings under the boot (even though it had no spoiler from standard) but unlike the Aerodeck, it doesn't have any markings? So I don't know where to start!
  8. F*ck the low & slow scene sh*t. I'm not getting shinny deep dish rims now so back to the original plan, 3 spoke Advans Had the deck up on the ramps and couldn't find no damage from getting stuck. Just a couple marks on the fuel tank and on the front ARB. I still haven't raised it Oh! I got the mid spoiler back just now! I managed to talk the sprayer into getting my spoiler done by wednesday. The colour is spot-on!

  10. Very nice! The new disc and brake hoses look fancy and the OEM wheels look loads better in black
  11. You lucky lucky SOD! I was wondering why @Krzys VTi-S was looking high Excellent results mate!
  12. Nooo not ripped it off, just slight dislodged it again.... Because my deck got stuck Went to a paintball sesh and the roads leading into the woods (more like a foot path with ditches!) feels like it wrecked the bottom of my car It was quite embarrassing because my mates and their mates who I never met had to get a couple logs to get me out. All this took half hour Had a quick peek under the car. Back box is sort of tilting and a few heavy scratches here and there. I will get pics up tomorrow... As much as I love how the deck sits, I'm gonna have to raise it. Practicality over looks for sure
  13. I did suggest that but he thinks these cars are getting too old now.. I said that's a good thing init? Much more reliable than the new sh!t
  14. My mate took the deck for a little spin. I NEVER let anyone drive my car usually. I try to convince him to buy a Civic but he don't like Honda's, infact he hates them! But he likes the feel of the Aerodeck, but not quite fast enough for his liking... Really weird seeing my car driven, never again...
  15. Uuuuuummmmm....... no. Fun cars to drive though. I driven a 1.5 version but still not as fast as my Aerodeck
  16. Nice! Very rare you see people finish modding or get it to how they want it
  17. You know I been driving two little sohc for nearly 4 years now whilst my mates have a BMW M3, MB6, Volvo T5, 200 bhp diesel Citroen ZX and a 400bhp Audi S3 I think you got peer pressure mate. Na, I can understand where you're coming from. My insurance has gone stupidly cheap and I fancy something with a bit more poke. But I'm still keeping the Deck
  18. I don't have kids, and i'm 22 and my deck is my 2nd car I had now. Soo....
  19. Cracked up reading the comments here You want my opinion? Well first off... I had a mb3 hatch and now currently have a mb9 Aerodeck. Both had the same engines and the same mods. Induction kit with caf, de-cat, mgzs back box and few other bits and pieces. When it came to power and handling (on standard suspension) I couldn't see a difference.. As for weight wise, I cannot say much about that because the hatch was 1118kg whilst the Aerodeck is 1190kg (even though the Aerodeck had no air con and the mb3 did have air con) The weight difference is very small... Appearance... well, as much as I loved my mb3, I still vote for the Aerodeck. I have always thought MB rear end looks too short. I think it would look better if it had a boot instead of a hatchback (a bit like the Honda Domani sedan) With the Aerodeck, I feel the added bit at the rear gives it the smoother lines. Just my thought
  20. Yeah it was no need for it really. Pretty sure people won't say it like that face to face at a car meet or something Well said. Good thing that some people on C5 FB are not on here. When I look at cars, sometimes I can find something is not quite fitted right or look right, you got to realize peoples background. Like you said, I am on a tight budget They made a big yooha out of the swirl marks If you wasn't harsh on me when it came to lowering my Aerodeck (properly) I would've taken short cuts again... actually no, I learned that mistake Yeah thanks for that Grant. It always seem to be Mr Cole who never says anything positive unless it was about his car I'm working on the spoiler now, just started sanding down using 1200 grit. Not sure to be honest, I don't think I want to put my car in for respray with them. Seems like everyone at the bodyshop is trying to avoid my car...
  21. Cheers Tom Ah they're only being honest and I cannot expect to get compliments all the time
  22. Cheers people I got my mid-spoiler and rear lip back from the body shop today because they still haven't done any work on it for over a month. Absolute pi$$take... Considering I offered to give them a bit more money than they asked for to get the job done too! So this evening I start sanding down the spoiler. Started off with 800 grid wet&dry and then 1200 grit wet&dry. It's already pi$$ing me off.. sanding and more sanding, a cuppa tea kinda helped though.. Walking to my car when finished work earlier, the Deck caught the sun just right Excuse the swirl marks and scratches....
  23. I done a major f**k up there Yeah what you said..
