  1. Today I have towed the car into work today as it just wouldn't bloody start. The green key wasn't appearing on the dash this time but instead, the engine cranks over but won't run. That's with the jump pack connected too.. I don't know what the f**k is up with it. It's just a combination of faults I think... Think I'm going to have to sorn it, put it under the covers and tuck it away in the corner of the workshop. For now I don't have the time plus the weather is not all that great for working in the evenings. Thanks for the help lads
  2. Nice! I am very impressed with the Ring bulbs I got Good luck with fitting the drive-shafts
  3. Sitting pretty. I love how the wheels tuck nicely
  4. Yes I have just found out the immobilizer is built into the ECU. I have just thought of something..... I have replaced the ignition barrel about 5 or 6 months ago because the original one was worn. But when I use the new key with the new ignition barrel, obviously the immobilizer won't recognize the new key. So I wrapped the old original key to the ring receiver so the immobilizer can recognize it and start the car. WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THIS EARLIER?!! That could be the issue!
  5. The problem has just got worse in the cold frosty mornings.. I got up 1 hour earlier for work this morning to get my car started and it was impossible. The same green flashing light appears and there is absolutely nothing I can do. I was lucky to get a lift into work (late again) and boss man wasn't impressed... The mobile electrician suppose to come look at my car last week and since then he haven't been answering his phone... Just been out to start the car now and it fired up straight away. But I know the car won't start tomorrow morning. Now, does anyone know where the immobilizer is located? Many thanks
  6. I went from Osram Nightbreakers to Ring Xnenons and I gotta say, I am very impressed with them!
  7. Think I am defiantly going to get a set of wheels after Christmas. I can get proper Advan's but they're a bit dearer.... Some pics of the MB9 and my mates new EK3 Sedan. Don't worry, he still has got his MB6. He tried to sell it but he just can't because he loves it too much!
  8. Yeah I got 15" steelies on mine and they don't look nowhere near as big!
  9. I just... love your Aerodeck now haha. Looks so right with blue on white bandeds
  10. Yes.. yes.. YES!! That looks f**king cool!
  11. Put your kids into bed now and get the wheels on already!! Or get the kids to help you fit them
  12. There is a problem with the ignition system too. Before the immobilizer was playing up, I had trouble starting the car. Sods law both are going wrong at the same time haha I want to get rid of the factory immobilizer but I'm not sure how to bypass it. I'm still waiting on the mobile electriction to come have a look at it
  13. s**t s**t s**t s**t..... which one. which one!! VOTED! But have I made the right decision?
  14. Mmm... I guess that is one way of looking at it. I'm actually on the RimStyle website doing some thinking now
  15. Everything all fitted and guess what... still the same thing occurring. The green key light flashes straight away and then when the engine does crank, it doesn't start but then it eventually does start when I keep trying. I got someone coming into look at my car tomorrow at work. He's an mobile electrician who's pretty much got every diagnostic plug-in there is (apparently) haha
  16. Well I'm fitting another distributor sometime after work and see how that goes. But then I won't know this till tomorrow morning. Sounds like the immobilizer is another problem. I'm hoping there is a way of bypassing the factory immobilizer because I would like to install another aftermarket alarm system with remote locking
  17. I check the earth and power on the starter motor and other earthing points around the engine. All seems good via a probe tester..
