One of my favorites too Cheers Na I think 17" are too big for a small engine like mine. And tyres are not cheap!

Right! Great weather for wash & wax, so here comes more photos I have also fitted the old modified grill surround which got vandalized a while back, but luckily the grill surround is still usable Then got back home and smashed the bottom tow-eye right in! I couldn't believe how loud it was....

Thanks mate! Been scrappy to get EG springs but so far no luck! Been busy preparing for Japfest... I don't think I will be fitting the wheels now, they're just too small. But I can sell them and get myself some proper nice wheels To be honest I am not too worried about it, I just can't hammer it into corners that's all lol. But I hope to get it sorted out soon! Cheers bud! They do look completely different, I was very surprised how they came up! Not sure what brand paint stripper it was but it was enough to make yours eyes water if you smell it!
-
Ah sh!t I forgot you had those springs! Oh well... my loss It was very easy! All 4 wheels took me 90 minutes to remove the paint with paint stripper. As soon as you apply the stripper, you see the paint already starts to bubble up. Gave it a quick brush down and then pressure washed it Haha thanks man First time I have done it too. There are a few heavy scuffs and lacquer peeling though

Yeah I'm on a mission to get the rear end down! Keeping my eyes out for cheap rear standard EG springs as the lowered rear EG springs were far too short
-
Ah I thought that might be... I cannot believe the difference it makes though! I'm all new to the suspension modding side of things
-
Nice one on getting the light problems fixed! I haven't seen that sort of pattern on those seats, quite like the interior apart from the wood trims... Haha loving the DOMO, I must get one!

Some updates! I am getting use to the ride comfort with the springs on but I tell you what, I am a bit sketchy driving around corners... With the standard springs, I can drive around this corner everyday at 50mph with a bit of body roll. Since fitting the front lowering springs, there is less body roll but the car just goes straight on, won't turn into the corner! I now have to drive around this corner at 40mph. It just seem to be understeering too easily. Maybe the standard springs on the rear causing this? Oh yes I have cleaned up the WEDS Farmas wheels and they came up very nice!! I used paint stripper to remove the black paint and gave a proper clean! Just got to sort out the lacquer on the rims From this.... To this!! A couple random photos of the M with a smile on her... To be honest I want to go lower.....
-
I still haven't taken a photo of it! Cheers bud Haha! Isn't safe going around corners hard. The rear end makes me feel a bit nervous

They look cool! I'm going to get the MB Squad sticker -
I will try and get a pic up of it later! It just skims the bottom of the lip. Looks pretty cool actually
-
Sweeeet! Congrats you have moved in! I bet the Accord is looking forward to her new home too
-
I think they look cool as f>ck! I seen DaveMB2 on here has it on his MB3
-
I just..... want my car to look like yours soooo bad! Just looks absolutely stunning!! Oh yeah that torque pro looks cool
-
I might be interested in the 15's... Good excuse to do an hub conversion and bigger brakes upgrade...
-
I thought James was saying cut the standard MB rear springs. Either way, I don't feel comfortable doing this And I don't want to go much lower on the front because the front splitter already scrapes on the floor driving out of my place
-
It drives absolutely fantastic! I noticed a difference as soon as I drove out the garage! The steering feels really sharp and a lot stiffer ( obviously ) It will be even better once I get the rear sorted out! Only thing I am not liking is feeling every bump but I will get use to it Mmm.... I'm a bit dubious doing that But I will keep it in mind as I have a spare set of standard springs
-
I will see if I can get them locally first because I know I can get them proper cheap from the scrappy. Cheers though!
-
I love the look of your previous cars mate, shame both of them didn't turn out pretty in the end though... The list looks good...

Ooo fancy bits and pieces ere! Good to see some D-series enthusiast! I'll be keeping an close eye on this as I will be doing a head conversion soonish and replacing the clutch along with a lightweight flywheel
