Burbleboy's VTi-S Build **NOW SOLD 16/12/15**
burbleboy replied to burbleboy's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
I have put that much effort into my mods that I will sell her complete. Would be a waste of all that effort to strip it all off. I may however keep the mapped ecu and seats but depends on price it sells for. Can get good money for ecu and seats! Was thinking about 2k for her but not decided fully. Suspension is fairly new and all adjustable. I have already set the plans for the accord....mugen rep bodykit and spoiler, buddyclub n+ coilovers and Varrstoen ES1 alloys! Got it all planned but waiting for a black accord executive with black interior. Gotta be black for what my plans are! -

On our trip to Isle of Skye, I noticed that Ruby back end would be unsettled on cornering. I was able to carry way more speed though the corners but then I'm used to driving with nearly full stiff suspension. -

There's no way john will sell Ruby! I have just threw a wobbly at John not messing about with his MeisterR suspension to suit is driving style. He adjusted 10 clicks harder and raved about the handling! The k24a3 is indeed my hankering @dr_broon And yes I will be attending future civic5 meets and still be part of the forum @philgor P.s I have a baby girl called Lauren now. Born on 14th October! Well chuffed! That's why I've been quiet the last while or so on here -

Well guys n gals, I shall be selling my car early next year I am looking for an Accord CL7/9 for a new project. I would have had my civic for 4 glorious years come January! It has been a track car, sensible car, roadtrip car and I think it's time to move on. Once I see the Accord I want then she will be up for sale. I'm looking every day for the right colour/spec and trim! Wish me luck! -
Like the work and future plans! God, wish I could have a shot at taming that car..would love to drift it
-
I will testify that they are also awesome on Scotlands undulating country roads as well as on the track. Thumbs up from me

Engine sump? Alternative to main dealer part?
burbleboy replied to stevemac's topic in Engine & Chassis
Indeed many sumps have been replaced. Hondas price is good considering the gasket alone is £50! I got mine from here; http://www.6two1.com/product/baffedoilpan-spoon/#sthash.uAFimtSn.dpbs But mine is a B18 engine. That gives you an idea of the rough cost to be expected though. -
Love the new colour

C.O.T.M - October - Hubert is the winner!
burbleboy replied to Krzys's topic in Car of the Month 2015 winners
Hatches are still alive and kicking...to busy being driven hard than being all 'slow n show' for this competition :) -
Shame but it comes to a point where you have to just give in
-
Sounds like it could be clutch/release bearing to me
-
Nice plans for it! Integra DC2 cams and valve springs etc are common mods along with Skunk 2 inlet mani. Think the dc2 head is ported better as the mb6 engines are just de-tuned versions of the integras b18c6 engine.

I've just bought Uniroyal Rainsport 3's for the front and there amazing. Got Toyo T1r's (look brand new) on the back. So much grip from uniroyals that the back end stepped out as they can't keep up with the fronts on a heavy roundabout cornering test. Defo uniroyals from now on...and they're cheaper than Toyos

Cheers Dave! Like that pic Krzys. Defo a wall poster from that!

It was extreme what the person done but the edited footage did look like we couldn't drive! I thought that showing just the crazy stuff would be entertaining rather than laptimes. Well I haven't learned as most of my footage nowadays features the exciting bits! Video is safely stored. I had promised Knockhill ans Track Association that the footage would be taken down on all websites.

I was banned back in 2006. Only recently returned when the dust settled! Long story short...I posted up EDITED in-car clips on youtube and streetfire.net of us having fun and drifting our shared cavalier redtop. It included close calls, loosing control and other car incidents. I had 18k+ hits in a week until some twat on Pistonheads grassed me up to Knockhill AND the National Trackday Association regarding our driving manner etc. Knockhill nearly lost their license until I had to step in and sort things. After that I realised the true power of the internet and the extremes people will go to when they want to get involved, more frustratingly when the said person is based in England and haven't even been to Knockhill.
