    the home made bit may not look good aesthetically but as you say it does the job and nobody will see it so win win win.. Love those proper black side repeaters, may be investing in some myself for our MB3 then i can donate my smoked ones to our MB6 !!

    PMSL!!!!!! Check this for irony regarding my last post LOL Just went out to take project MB3 to the garage for some petrol, i have not used her since getting home from work christmas eve been using our MB6 for work since. Got in her and she fired as normal flicked wipers and screen was still wet FFS i got a leak Ha Ha Ha further investigation whilst driving has led me to believe its the sunroof as it is damp only under both the sun visors so i will have to investigate that

    looks much tidier with the new trim, shame about the dials but hey ho as you say not a lot spent so no biggy, just a shame as im sure you was looking forward to seeing them in your M.. Maybe you can go for something else with your dials instead

    indeed stick with the D15 bottom end rebuilt and improved and i was thinking a D16 head and a different box

    as above mate although i paid £7.50 each myself so not much difference and easy to fit as well..

    Our cars are prone to leaks there are quite a few places they are known to leak from.. The ones i know of are At the front sunroof drains, worth checking they are not blocked. Windscreen itself. At the rear the boot seal is common for leaking, check it is all in place properly or it may be perished is she sat around for a period. Light cluster seal, they are prone to leaking through this but easy to remove and investigate further Im sure other members will tell us of other areas i have missed but hopefully you got a few places to be getting on with investigating further for now...

    I may have to get one for the other M as i plan to make lots of changes to our MB3 this coming year. Many miles have past and she is getting tired so i intend on doing some major work under the bonnet. Engine needs rebuild so going to go for it a bit (within budget) which will mean her getting a full system from mani to tip by the end of it...

    i am going to try the 120 setup for our MB3 imo as she only had a D15 the 120 will be setup for a lighter engine like mine
