Thats a pretty damn good stuffing there tom!! I couldn't go too mad as i had two kids i the back which needed to be breathing still when we delivered them back to my girlfriends parents lol!

Same place as i got my air filter... Debating about putting it back in the bay though with a heat shield like i had at first! Deflectors look awesome mate!!

I was a bit dubious about sanding the colour too but aslong as you get a good few colour coats down, then as grant said 1500 wet n dry (keep it really wet! Very VERY lightly rub over just to A. Get a smooth surface for lacquer to sit on and B. to remove any gloss finish from the colour so the lacquer adheres properly!!Good few coats of lacquer after that but make sure its proper clean before any paint is put down!! I brake clean it, rub with blue tissue then brake clean again then air line to blow it all off bone dry!! give it a crack anyone who weary of it... If you have something that NEEDS painting instead of just getting it done pro have a go first... Then if it goes wrong a pro can still do it anyway lol

Lol yeah i got carried away when i didnt know what i was doing and sanded the inside of the tim aswell as the rim face! Doh!! So need some protection on the inside really!! Now gotta do it to all of them so they match! Lol

Cheers for the comments lads! Im pretty happy with the colour its turned out too! Wasn't sure exactly what shade i would get as i ordered gunmetal and on the can it says technic grey! Lol But its come out alright for my first ever wheel refurb! Quite chuffed with it if im honest!! Lool Now gotta not c**k up the other three haha!!

Decided for now to just refurb mine... So i finally started this week! First sand back and fill imperfections then tape up tyre then etch primer... Then 240 wet n dry sand back then filler primer... Then 400 wet n dry sand back then etch primer... Then 1200 wet n dry then colour (gunmetal)... Then 1500 wet n dry then lacquer!!! Just got to hammerite the inner rim then onto the next one!! Opinions??

Some good productive work there fellas! Bay is coming along real nice mate! Liking the sticker bombed bits too... Has grown on me alot from when i first saw it

Right!! Ive decided all my priorities have changed due to japfest!! Main tasks for the next month or so are.... Respray front bumper Respray skirts and rear lip Refurb alloys Might have to purspone my grill services after the couple im doing now to focus on my own car!! Lool

Projectors are the way forward!! Would love a set myself but ive got to prioritise... Im getting fed up of my black bumper and steel rim!!! Lool The time will come for projectors, but its a must!!!

Great fuel consumption figures there dave!! I'm lucky to get 300 from a full tank! Even when im careful my right foot can often be drawn to the floor, i cant figure a cure for this 'heavy right foot' syndrome!! Lol -
And when the £1.09 coinage is judged as bigger than a letter then it'll be another £1.09!!!! Lol
