Those bolt grip sockets got to be worth a go... Before getting well involved with drilling and grinding etc! Once you start grinding you cant go back! Might need to arrange one of these 'stuffed deck convoys' myself when we move in a few months!! Sounds a cracking idea and my furniture would be proud to travel in such style!! New rubber holds up a treat cheers for the advice lads!! Well happy!

Mot aint a problem, and as for the ballasts... They can go in the front wings if i can fit em in there!
-
Thats fair enough but if i was to fit 6000k hids abd the beam pattern on the headlight aim tester is fine then i pressume they wouldnt be chucking the beam all over? These would be fine then?
-
So if my washers are removed.. And i smooth bumper over so theres no holes generally they'll probs be okay then? Probs go for some 6000k... What about them blowing... Do HID bulbs blow eventually or what??
-
Getting some HID's very soon, got a couple Q's though... Can the HID bulbs blow like normal bulbs and how do i go about replacing if that happens? Also alot if people say they're illegal but my MOT guy at work says dont matter what lights it has as long as its got the right aim and pattern?? So what makes these illegal then?

Haha... I only view on mobile but i choose to 'view full site' so i can see whats going on lol... And im glad i do!

MB2 TRINITY D. K26. 23/11/14 BRAND NEW MINI MOD ????????
snakey135 replied to DAVEMB2's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Well ive put my beaks bar on and had to remove the solid brake line that bolted onto the chassis in that area... In this pic the red line is where the brake line is hanging now and the blue circles are where it should be bolted but it doesnt sit there anymore as the beaks bar is in the way?? :/ -
As grant said, from demon tweeks mate! I know how you feel tom were saving for a deposit on our first house too its a killer!! Lol Ta for comments! New rubber should be fitted this afternoon!! :D

Wow dave!!! Looking great mate... Theres nothing more to say than what has already been said really but one question... With your beaks bar what route do your brake lines take now as ive had to leave mine loose atm as they're in the way of the bar lol -

Coming along nicely pal... New rims will look good in black or gun metal i reckon too Just polish the sidewalls so they're black too rather than grey lol
-
Looks nice mate... De-chrome front grill and a black lip kit will finish the exterior nicely!! You might find the lip kit may give the illusion of it being a bit lower than it actually is??
-
How knackard is it mate? Can you show us a pic at all?? Would love to be able to assist you getting your bad boy beaks bar fitted!! Not sure yet... Front tyres are proper Fu..Fu..Fu..nackard!! So am treading carefully till i get my Toyo's fitted tomorrow fingers crossed! I agree it does look awesome!! Whenever matty1 drives past me i notice his red beaks bar gleaming as i look in my o/s mirror after he passes me! Lol looks kool as!!As for handling... Im sure it should have a slight effect as its bolted directly on the LCA mounts so it should reduce chassis flex between those two points... The OEM bar thats fitted is bolted NEXT to the LCA mounts rather than on them so the beaks should be a bit more effective i would think??? Anyone able to shed anymore factual light on this???

That tyre stretch does look kool! That stance is awesome... Couldn't you get new inner arches and use heat to stretch them higher a bit for more inside clearance without duffing them??

Lol maybe he was trying to get me to buy the more expensive tyres! But then said wait till there on offer so im not sure??? Im deciding between the 55 toyos and the 55 michelins... Michelins will cost about £155 fitted and the toyos will cost £120 from demon tweeks plus a little figure to my tyre guy to fit them! Heelp!!! Lool

He said that he personally cant fit them at his work as legally they can only fit the tyres their system says a vehicle can use... Which is fair enough... He put in my vehicle and it gives him the tyres he can fit with 15's 16's 17's etc... He said theres no problem him selling me the tyres excluding fitting price for me to fit but i think i want the 195/55's if there going on offer anyway! I only wanted the 195/50's due to price difference anyway lol 50's would be better for 16's rather than 15's i reckon!
