    Yeah is a tough job when first doing it but my mate does these day in day out so he's gna help out n show me best way to attack it! Going breakers tomorrow wonder what ill come back with!! Do i risk finding a backbox at breakers or wait? REALLY want one but wont have the pennies for one for ages so wondering if its worth the risk getting one from scrappies for cheap??? How do i know if baffles gone or in good condition etc?? What you lads reckon?

    Sidelights and reverse lights look good, i swapped my sidelight bulbs for leds other day too... Big improvement!

    Just ordered a cam seal from the bay... Can i take it my engine is a b18c? Or how do i find out what engine it is as only just noticed listing states that its not compatible with b18a and b18b engines! Cheers

    Lol spose thats one way of getting round it! Great choice of lolly to go with the job too! Got cambelt kit but never done one before, so my mate at work is gna do it with me as its me first, so its just finding an eve when he's not working late you see... Hopefully will be done by end of the week!! Payday tomorrow! So couple bits from the bay and a trip to peas pottage on saturday for some goodies! If im nice to the other half that is lool!!

    Right i'll enquire about it! Lol matty! Can be dangerous stuff so think i'll just get it removed properly haha! Found out my cambelt has nearly done 100,000 miles... Not been done since 64,000 mile service so hopefully get that done tonight!!

    At least i wont need to hit the gym without PAS lol!! Think thats what im going for now matty, leave PAS in and remove the AC... Where would remove gas from the system before i remove it... And how much does it cost? Yeah does look cool opening bonnet with the struts on now mate... Though i can see the brackets bending as the metal i used is sheet alli but im in progress of making some tougher brackets for them... Also im going breakers end of next week after payday for various few bits and stronger, longer gas struts are on the list!! Not sure how you would notice heat soak.. Maybe slight fall in performance as engine gets hot and starts sucking in hot air... Can always get a heat shield like i had but i prefur CAI (cold air induction) as i know heat deffo wont be an issue!

    Ok mate.... Its bad in the places and times when i need to be going that way then haha!!! The lanes arnt bad untill they get flooded... Might have to risk the roadworks tomorrow morning!

    Thanks tom Well my mate got a decat exhaust and had to put the original exhaust back on for the mot as his decat wouldnt pass emissions... So i mean if i just go for back box or from cat backwards then shouldn't have any problems! Saying that my car didnt pass emissions when i first got it anyway lol!!

    Lol!... Right so now i'm in two minds about removing PAS lol... Think i'll look into it a bit more before making a decision, am most probably going to remove AC tho!!

    Yeah i think ill remove it when ive got the time, along with putting in a PAS delete... With no PAS obviously whilst driving wont be a problem, but how much difference will it make when dry steering? Will it be a struggle or not much difference? Also does anyone know how i go about removing AC system? Will have a butchers on here to see if theres a 'how to' now but i presume it aint a 20 minute job haha!!!! Does sound decent kink, can really hear the VTEC kick in now too

    Also wondered if its possible to remove the air con system? If possible im hoping it'll give me more space in the bay.. Whats peoples opinions on this... Less work for engine to do aswell im thinking, so maybe slightly more power will be available???

    Yeah no heat problems now! The k&n sock is a good shout although i think your right that it doesnt stop water suction, its used to prevent dirt, gravel etc from road surface for CAI's Kink, unsure if thats sarcasm but it does sound good lool!! Find it hard to resist putting my foot down to get a little roar from it! Am only getting back box when i do exhaust too so will have a nice sound without the mot problems!
