It's come to a point where an MB without the rear lip looks weird to me. Nice one on the finishing touch to the VTiS kit!

So this happened earlier this week: (Ignore the timestamp I thought I turned it off so I never set the date) The cause of this horrendous noise? The starter motor solenoid was stuck! So the starter was spinning along with the engine! Apparently BMW build their starters so well that they don't break when doing 6500rpm. They do cause potential fires though, which I'm glad didn't happen. The Beemer is currently sat at my local garage awaiting a new starter motor so I'll be getting it back Tuesday.

The door handles are interchangable. I think MG/Rover ones might even fit! You'll need to swap the door locks if you're doing fronts. The remote won't be affected as it uses a sensor inside the car.

The rattle is because the baffle in the exhaust is loose. I've got an MG rear ARB on now and there's still loads of clearance between the bar and the exhaust.

Yeah I'll get the hoses. So fun that I'm basically rethinking what I'll be doing with the MB6 in future! Hint: It includes semi-slicks.

Track went alright at Japfest! Session was a bit short due to a red flag but I got a few laps in at least! Definitely going to be doing more sessions at future shows. I've got a video to edit and upload but for now here's the 3 pictures I took throughout the entire show:

You need to get the car mapped with the P28 in, then you see the improved performance.

Fourth and final update! Paint! My VTiS kit came looking a bit sorry for itself, scuffed and chipped and my lows hasn't helped at all. So I got some paint off eBay after seeing other members having good things to say about the colour match. Some spraying later and the car looks mint again! Just showing the colour match with my spare H badge. Doesn't look different you say? Well that just shows how good the colour match is! Oh and I did this, even though I don't have a H-series, or a H-Tune ECU, or a turbo.

If only I could afford it! Holy cycling to appease his chosen god. It's when you dice so many tomatos that you're basically swimming in it. I was tempted to do that just now!

Update #3! A knob and something to film with! I bought a fake Mugen knob off eBay because my VTiS one was getting a bit worn out. It comes with a little plate that has the H pattern on it which gives extra JDM points! And then my camera came! It's a GoPro "alternative", which means it's not pretending to be a GoPro but it is a tenth of the price of one and even uses the same mounting hardware. Should be able to capture quality track footage at Japfest with it! I have one more update to give and then I'm all set.
