The windows do go up fine now Very good stuff You can't notice the marks. I think some more scrubbing will do it.

Hi guys, As you may know I've fitted some new headlights to my MB6 The drivers side is aiming too low down towards the road, is there a way to manual adjust it up a bit? The electrical adjusters work fine but it's too low on normal setting Thanks

Ah thought as much! I'll see what I can DIY with, or source some new rubbers T%hanks for the reply.

What an absolutely fabulous day! Sun is out. The ground is dry! Managed to get quite a bit done before midday Had another go at the bumper and lights and found the passenger light was caught on a plug! It fit back nicely. There is still some small panel gaps but that's my fault. I bent the wings being an impatient scrote and pulling the lights out.. Oops. So anyway, here's the result Driver side fitment And the not so elegant passenger side! I have noticed the drivers side headlight beam is incredibly low, much lower than the passenger. Is there a manual adjuster anywhere to raise it up? Now, onto the fogs. My new H3 bulbs arrived today, Yay! So I thought.. Both fogs seem to be totally ruined with rounded screws and horrible bodge repairs! Driver side unit with cap. The bulb doesn't work. Passenger side with no cap. The bulb works I was stopped in my tracks almost immediately when one of the screws was badly rounded. I could tell that if I tried undoing it with some force it'd be ruined completely. I undid the 3 tiny screws at the top and managed to open the unit slightly and what tipped out was this i'm guessing the insides have shattered including the bulb and is beyond repair. Going to remove them sometime soon and source some new ones

So the bumper came off easier than I expected! The headlights were still a pig to remove though, getting caught on the metal bar? The drivers side headlight fit a treat. Beam is a little low so I need to adjust the headlight level tomorrow The passenger side was a little bit tricky. The bottom bolt which is hidden behind the bumper had snapped and another was already in place...however the light doesn't seem to fit very well in the hole. Left side is too close to the bonnet and I have a monumental panel gap to the wing. It was much more of a pig to fit than the drivers side so something may be caught.. Some more fiddling required as it got dark rather quick! The picture actually makes it look a lot worse than it is. I done some more adjusting after taking the photo Might purchase some rubber strips to close the gap

I don't see the indicators as needing a lot of illumination. So long as opposing traffic can see the orange blink, it's good enough for me! Did the same thing in my Micra and Fiesta too.

So my goodies arrived today! Thanks Carl Conroy Cleaner/clearer lenses Sprayed black And I think the orange indicator caps look badass! Any tips for fitting? I see there's one screw down the side which might be a pig to get to!

Might try and find replacement caps provided the factory ones provide no beam pattern. I'll just leave it for now but get them both working.

Two new H3 bulbs on their way for my front fogs Oddly enough the passenger side is missing the glass cap but works perfectly. The drivers side has a glass cap which looks to be glued on but the bulb doesn't work. I'm assuming the bulbs just remove from behind the bumper?

Whoah wasn't expecting to see BC coilovers on this thread! Good job on the headlight projectors too, where'd you get them? Someone doing it right. Awesome!

Good news! The goodies are starting to roll in MG ZS cup holder Annoyingly the pen holder clips are broken so wont have any function holding a pen *damn*. And fitted The lid wont stay closed with the cup holder fitted, always pops open. Probably a little worn. Loosened the clip screws and it closes fully Some small washers on the screws should sort it! Some other bits in the post too

Yep, both round the right way! I've concluded it's not the gearbox. The noise is consistent no matter which gear. 3rd, 4th, 5th and coasting in neutral. Does not vary with revs either. And as for the Gummi Pflege and wind deflectors, it seems to have worked! The windows seem to go up without much effort. Good stuff! ---- Back to the whirring... Okay, so what I did noticed was that a driveshaft was fitted not long before I bought the car. Short driveshaft as well... It cost 27.99. How is this even possible? All shafts I see are 130quid or so. Is possible the wrong shaft could whirr? Worth triple checking the hub nut is torqued correctly?

Not the end of the world. Looks like there's watermarks all the time. Maybe time and some rain water.

Some good news and finally some pictures! This arrived today And here it is fitted Noticed the second screw? Well the original handle had a second screw also. I guess some clip or something was broken because when I fitted the new handle and pulled the lever, the left side moved and the door didn't open. When I held the left side, the door opened. So that's why there was another screw! And my old busted one!

No idea. The car was generally well looked after but I have no idea on the gearbox. I've only owned it a month. I did record a short video on the way to work about 40mph. I was certain I could hear a noise but I can't seem to in the video. http://youtu.be/beVSAtiBi3k I am using laptop speakers so proper speakers might let you hear it

Complete lies. The label says 5-15% alcohol.

Well my Gummi Pflege arrived today. I just applied it and fit the deflectors. I'll see tomorrow if they're a better fit or not. On the other hand...Incidentally, I got some Pflege on my fingers whilst applying to the rubbers....and subsequently some ended up on the deflectors. They now seem to be ruined as I've washed them but the marks wont go away. I'm hoping some time..or car shampoo will clean them up good. It's supposed to be water based so I'd assume it would just wash off.

Tyres? Brand new 2 weeks ago :/ I'm not sure how to check bearings. I'll look it up. But the car also had a new filter and an oil change consisting of 5W-40 fully synthetic Fuchs Super Syn

The handbrake is shocking. So 2 new tyres and the problem is much better. I still have a whirring noise but I can't tell if it's road noise from the tyres or a FRONT bearing. This is getting tiresome.
