  1. Had a look through all the paperwork (Which there is a LOT) and saw some good bits. Many invoices from garages for services Quite a lot of misc service bits, oil, filters etc Several receipts from KwikFit for tyres, balancing etc A SuperSprint exhaust system (Totals about £400) And a Sebring stainless steel backbox. (£190) I'm not sure the SuperSprint is still on the car though.
  2. Had a quick blast. Normal driving I can't tell the difference. Under WOT it sounds great especially when VTEC kicks in. As for worthwhile performance gains it's likely to add nothing. I'm a firm believer in sealed airboxes with appropriate ducting. I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon and the stock airbox will be back on
  3. Some small bits. 90mm gear stick extender. Not much use for now but would be awesome with a short shifter! And a noise maker from a breaking VTi on here
  4. Removing the secondary vutterlfies "IAB"? Gives you more power top end at the cost of losing low end torque . Last thing Honda's need is less torque so I might not bother
  5. When it started lifting I thought it was opening
  6. Tested with some more confidence and it works correctly When closing it lifts up slightly then down and locks This thread can be closed
  7. I'll go test it again, 2 mins!
  8. This is pretty dumb... I can't figure out how to close the sunroof fully? There's a button, not sure what it does? It just opens the sunroof when I pressed it. And there's a switch, one way opens back and other opens upward. If I close it one way and hold the switch too long it opens the other. Am I being stupid?
  9. Attempt 2 at box removal. Mud shield will not come off. One of the bolts underneath is just spinning. I'm not pro enough to remove a bumper either. I did however remove 2 bolts before realising there's a 3rd so the box is now wobbling about. Sigh. I'll just bolt it back in place and go the induction kit route.
  10. I also have a spare inlet mani with the IAB butterflies removed. Personally, I'm looking at a Skunk2 inlet mani or Blox as that looks like a major bottleneck. Open cone filters always suffer from warm air. Clever placement of a CAI and headshields could see some improvement.
  11. Ah, week off work Attempted to remove the resonator box from the intake this morning but after realising it's hidden behind a mud shield I decided not to bother and just wait for an induction kit or something. What's everyone's opinions on the "whales peen" intake? My friend has said a big no no.
  12. Those bulbs looks pretty good! I had Night Breaker Plus in my Micra, wasn't overly impressed with them. They lit up street signs about a mile away but only lit the road about 10ft ahead >.> I'll invest in some of the Ultimates. Unlimited. Derp. EDIT Reading up, it seems the Unlimited bulbs are renamed Plus bulbs? Some more digging required!
  13. This needs some more lows Why are very few cars on here low?
  14. So nothing big happening yet. Gave the car a quick jetwash, just get most of the muck off. The headlights are cloudy and have a yellow tinge. I made some attempts to clear them up. A little better but still have that yellowish tinge. I used some P800, then P1200 wet and dry. Followed by some G3 compound followed by Auto Glym polish to get them shiny again. Both headlights were as bad as each other. Here's the drivers headlight before and passenger headlight after A bit of an improvement but I think the discolouration is on the inside. New headlights should fix it In fact it looks 10x better in this picture than in real life!
  15. Some new tyres today ans it gave me a chance to look underneath. Apologies for image sizes if they are large, uploading from my phone!
  16. Hi all My Micra has had it's day so I picked up this Civic MB6. I know it's not your typical EK Civic but it's still got the B18C4. It's certainly quicker than the Micra. It wont set any speed records but it does shift pretty well. The Car It has 89,000 miles, a bunch of paperwork and MOT till end of August. The car has had some track use before, the guy was on RetroRides It's pretty much standard, it has a set of 35mm lowering springs and a stainless steel (silent) rear can. Plans - I'm having the window tints done pay day, I don't like being in a goldfish bowl. - I've bought some G3 rubbing compound to remove the cloudiness on the headlights. - Some BC coilovers, expensive but worth it. - New brake pads. Preferably GreenStuff. It has OMP pads at the moment and they don't feel the best. Stay tuned!
