Thanks for the positive comments guys I'm quite happy doing some tidying up. Debating a debadge or not... I like the clean boot but I also like my VTi badges As for wheels I'd love to keep it OEM+ but anything tasteful will do. No 17s. No multifits. No fake splits Seen these floating about online USDM Accord alloys so practically 0 chance sourcing them in this country! But my choice of wheel will be 15x7 possibly 15x8 depending on the offset and the style will be similar to the above. Large, flat faces. These are last on my list (as wheels should be) so it might even be 2015!

New OEM fogs! Wasn't quite a simple swap. Neither of the fogs worked and both needed new bulbs. Not impressed considering they were sold as "working perfectly". A lot of patience and quite a bit of time allowed me to remove the metal housing and most of the screws holding the bulb housing together. One head snapped and I had to snap another after it rounded. Seems they are very poorly designed with overly thin screws? Anyway, 2 H3 bulbs later and some fiddling and voila!

Not much going on so far. A lot of driving and tidying up. I have an Avital Maxx1 car alarm. It's a little PITA because I can't seem to set it! The manual states there is a button which you use to configure the alarm...problem is it's hidden! However, I did find a control box so reduced the sensor sensitivity for now. tip top! Some new goodies. A set of working OE fog lights with original glass and housings

A drastic change from 35mpg to 23mpg without a change of driving style suggests improper calculations or a bad baseline. More likely a bad baseline. The only true way to measure MPG is to brim the tank and measure a couple times. For example, in my old car £20 got me a solid 150 miles. Sometimes I could get 170miles if I really pushed my luck. Calculating the MPG then would have equalled around 50mpg at 130.9p per litre. However if I filled up again just £20 I would have likely only got 120-130 miles before being on the red, equalling what seems to be a measly 38MPG. Average MPGs are a better way of working For what it's worth I average 30MPG in the MB6 with regular VTEC.

Bog standard BP or Shell for me Ordinary fuel has many additives already so the extras in the "super" and the slower burning higher octane fuel isn't beneficial for ordinary engines. People will always tell you otherwise though.

It's a universal box so it'll need welding.

That's one long sentence!

You're also forgetting you need projectors for them to be legal. So basically - Auto self levelling - Projectors - Automatic self cleaning At the bare minimum. and FWIW an HID bulb is called a capsule

I wish I could fit 14s

Out of curiosity, what makes them USDM?

This isn't great news My rear calipers stick slightly if I leave the handbrake on for about a day or two

Seems as though the lenses aren't on the electronic adjusters properly and they're moving about when driving. Solution? Some temporary bodging. I'll double check the beam height tonight.

I absolutely love them. I bought them from member on here Okay, some more bits done today! After noticing a small oil leak by the gearbox (Most likely a shaft seal) I decided to check the oil levels. I undone the filler plug and nothing came out, oops. Went to Halfords (gah!) to source some Castrol SMX-S which they told me they no longer stock and instead it's been replaced with Castrol Syntrans I grabbed 3 litres, enough to top it up now and enough left over to do all full drain when I'm free. 2.2L iirc? The box took around 0.5L of oil. Pulling away in first gear is a dream. So smooth now, it used to (rarely) judder quite violently pulling away. Worrying. Gear changes are smoother in general. As for the whirring noise I'm sure it's quietened down quite a bit. Although I seem to be the only sod who can hear it!

Looks like it's popped off the adjuster. Any way to sort without taking them apart?

I got 4pc Rover 45 wind deflectors. The fit was very very snug up front. Bought some Gummi Pflege off eBay and it's solved the problem! Keep the Pflege away from the deflectors!
