  1. Ahh man, I need to get me one of them! Would make balancing my morning coffee in there a lot easier!
  2. Super looking forward to it!
  3. Car is Looking sooo nice mate! Love the JR3 Alloys, they are the exact one's that I was after before I got my 96' ITR Wheels. Awesome to actually see what they are like on the M! May be tempted to get a set one day, but the ITR Alloys were too good a deal to pass up.
  4. Haha Thanks Guys! I can't wait to experience the difference. Always wanted to do everything at once and feel what its like all fresh and new at the same time, setup and working in harmony. Hoping to get booked in around the 5th of next month Might as well go big or go home

    Best Tyres?

Like Shafzzz, I got the XL's so the sidewall is that little bit stiffer.

    Best Tyres?

Another vote for Rainsport 3's ! Amazing in both wet and dry and a good price too! I agree, everyone will have a preference. Plus, tyre can vary massively dependant on the cars suspension set-up (hard, stiff, soft, camber etc) and weight too. To most that seems pretty obvious, but its easy to forget or not think about if you're a car newbie. I had pirelli p6000's on all of my BMW's ( 5 series) and they were faultless, grippy when I wanted and easy enough to break free if I pushed them the right amount, But when my MB6 cme with them on, they were absolute s**te, no confidence at all, just sliding about everywhere and spinning out under even just light load (2-2.5K). But even I as someone who should know, was guilty when inspecting on purchase of saying to myself " ahh P6000's with decent tread all round, great they should be fine".....How wrong I was lol! But once again for the MB at least the Uniroyal Rainsport 3's have been amazing!
  8. Nice! I need to post some of my other / old builds. Would Love a R33 GTR myself, in either sonic silver or 'dark grey'....original colour name there nissan lol.
  9. Nice car! Always wanted one of these, really wanted the EVO II with that massive wing and touring car styling. Look forward to seeing this one come on. make me miss my old BMW E34, always wanted an E30 too! To be fair, I want many cars
  10. Hahah, Indeed I shall!
  11. Looking nice! can't wait to see it with the rims on too. Don't think I'll be slamming mine as much as that though
  12. So I was finishing up that last bit of painting on the lip kit today and found some more work . Like I said the kit was in pretty good nick for the price, but some of it still had remnants of a poorly done carbon wrap that needed to be peeled off first. Front lip was fine as it hadn't been done and sides came off easy enough with no damage, but looky what the wrap was hiding at the back.....A big melted hole above the exhaust recess! Ohh well, time for some fibreglass! and maybe some head shielding when its done too! Weather permitting, it should be all freshly painted like the rest by the weekend ready for fitting. On a more exciting front, I've been pricing up parts and labour with the guys at ABP Motorsport in crew and am hoping to get it all booked in ASAP, would usually do it myself but just don't have the time atm. Plus they can do me a full suspension setup / geometry / alignment for fast road use once its all on. Alongside the Meister-R's the car is getting the following: Skunk2 Pro Series Plus Front Camber Kit Buddy Club or Skunk2 Rear Camber kit Skunk2 Gold Anodised Rear Lower Control Arms Skunk2 Hard Anodised Rear Lower Arm Bar Full Poly Bush kit including shifter linkages New OE Quality track rod ends, front lower ball joints, front Drop links & Rear Drop links + any other bushes not covered here or in the poly bush pack. Handling Should be amazing when its done, got 4 new Uniroyal Rainsport 3's to go on the ITR alloys. Great tyres btw!
  13. Thanks, TBH I was a little worried myself that they were a bit to bright, but after seeing them in both light and dark I think I'm happy enough. Apparently the colour is Volvo 'Tropical Lime'???
  14. Very nice, Liking the upgrades so far! Top job! Watch that those aftermarket wheel nuts don't come lose as they will have a tapered seat where as the stock fitment is a radius seat.
  15. I'm hoping so, the colour looks quite gold in light complimenting the Purple of the Pirates black when its sunny, but when the light fades they go much more bronze looking, which works well against Pirates Black paint at night or when its overcast. I suppose I will have to wait till they are on and get some pics in both lights. I'm hoping the soon to be added lows will make them look a little more at home in those arches too.
  16. I'm sure you all noticed that I de-badged the back too,
  17. Well things have been pretty slow with this project so far. However, I finally managed to sell my previous VW project and am hoping that with the cash injection from the old car and some good weather things should now pick up. So far I have found myself a VTIS Lip kit as I decided that I did want that more aggressive look after all. It was in pretty good nick, but I decided to give it all a respray anyway. Pretty happy with the results. Primed All Painted And Lacquered up While I had the paint out I colour coded the rear chrome strip and painted my rear H badge in matt black. Next Up was the front - decided on matt black again and love the transformation both front and back Decided to get out some gloss black for the wifes car too! Paint trigger happy, hahah! Still waiting for some new clips to arrive before I can get the Lip kit on, so in the meantime I gave both rides a well deserved wash and quick photo snap with their matching black additions. And if thats not enough progress, I also got my new wheels back from refurb So with the Meister-R's sat in the waiting, I'm hoping that as soon as the lip kit is on I can order the last of the suspension bits and get it all set up nice.
  18. Yep, I'm hoping so. Could even be a supercharger in the pipeline.....But that won't be for a while as I wanna enjoy each different stage
  19. Probs a little lighter with a bit more gold.
  20. Yeh looking to go for a bit of a cross. I want like a bronze & gold mix so that it's not as dark as say the Rota Grid Bronze but not gold as in Subaru gold either. That's why I quite Like the speedline colour, will look nice against the PB when its black, but having a lighter bronzy gold will look awesome when the purple in the PB comes out to dominate in the sun So for example here are some Rota Grids in Bronze (bit to dark for me) The Here's the Speedline Gold So I'm hoping for a happy blend that might end up similar to the Japan Racing Bronze (maybe they can just colour match these)
  21. Cheers! Yeh I think I may have mentioned that I managed to score a set of Fully refurbished 96 spec DC2 Alloys for an awesome price. They are due to be re-finished in Speedline Gold / Bronze and fitted once the suspension is all done, Got 4 new Uniroyal Rainsport 3's ready as well. Awesome tyres for both wet and dry!
  22. Thanks guys, can't wait to see the difference it makes especially considering how lucky I was to get a car that performed and handled so close to how it did when it was new. Just had a full caliper strip down the other week too, so once the suspension is sorted I will order some new rotors, pads, and SS Brake lines as well.
  23. Ok so its been a good while since I've posted anything. Been mega busy ever since I bought the MB with the little one growing up and the new business starting up and all. But finally things are on the move again and to kick things off I just received these yesterday very excited. Won't get them on till next month as I am waiting or some other bits to arrive in the way of adjustable front and rear camber arms,a full poly-bush kit front and rear, some uprated LCA's, and some oem drop links all round. That way I can get it all on at the same time and set up / alignment etc and should only leave me with a rear tie bar to wrap up the suspension / chassis mods other than the obligatory rear ARB upgrade. Also managed to get hold of some freshly fully refurbed 96 spec DC2 alloys to go on wrapped in 4 new Uniroyal Rain sport 3 tyres (Awesome tyres BTW).So its all starting to come along nicely. will post some pics once all the work has been done
  24. Thanks! Will see if I can dig something up.
