  1. Been away for a long time again, a lot happened and more money has been spent on her than I'd be comfortable with, but noy oh boy does she look and drive the part again. New engine, new wheels, new clutch, removed some things, added some things. Too much to write down. Very happy with how she turned out. And dare I say it; she's almost finished. You ever hear that? A finished project car? What a journey it has been these past 3 years of owner ship. So grateful
  2. Thank you all! this my first time I've won car of the month, quite an honour
  3. Hi, yesterday I was fiddling with my rear indicators. Started testing them on the hazard lights, they shortcircuited and I blew the fuse. Being the lazy bell end I am, i didnt replace the fuse immediatly and figured I'd continue testing on the turn signals. Of course, i shorted them again. Replaced the hazard light fuse under the hood and the hazards work again but no turn signals. Now tried replacing the relay in the under-dash fusebox but it didn't work. Kinda lost now, anyone know if there is a different fuse that I don't know of or some module that needs replacing? Please help. Need to get her working again by the end of this weekend!
  4. Got them of, being careful to remove the covers on rear and front. Requires a little patience but by prying them upwards with a screwdriver they came off. Only broke 1. Under the covers are torx screws that came off relatively easy. No hassle
  5. Hi there! Does anyone know how to get the roofrails off of an Aerodeck? Are they mounted from the inside or can I just pull them right off? Als does anyone know how to remove the covers on the front and rear of the rails without breaking them?
  6. Let's try again. New shoes coming soon! Hopefully going to get it all together after this Covid-19 madness
  7. Still a ton of work to be done, working on better fitment as we speak! lots of cool stof incoming!
  8. Been busy, finished my rear disc swap and finally glasscoated the beauty!
  9. Another quick update, finally found a rear lip! Also removed my rear seats. About halfway through a rear discbrake conversion. Waiting for parts I'm so close to being done with this project and it's crazy to see the progress I've made. I learned so much and it makes me want to buy another car and do it all again. things that are still on my list: mini-me conversion (I have all the parts, nust not the knowledge to do it by myself.) a respray or wrap? Different seats? Harness bar and harnesses? Spacers and camber arms? New clutch and other maintenance related stuff Wide fenders? Also have to redo my audio in the back since the seats are removed, have to think of something first though. Maybe a sub in the rear cover panels? Hope the one that reads this is enjoying my build as much as I am. But it's not perfect, hope I can get her there.
  10. Yeah I meant that it's a set of four weird, somebody must have had a really bad deal then. maybe they're worth a little more in this part of europe. but thanks for the info guys!
  11. Hi, i've found a pair of those rare metal door sills for the MB, turns out the bloke is selling them for 30 euros. From what I remember, i've seen these go for 150 at minimum. Does anyone know the true value of these things?
  12. more updates, agressive-ish splitter, still needs some work though but it looks really cool. found a midwing! still looking for a rear lip to complete the aero. hopefully a rear brake swap coming soon, as well as a Mini-me. it's so cool how much this car has changed in the past years, looking back on my first post here. it's almost getting me sentimental have a good day ya'll.
  13. That's close, but not exactly what I'm looking for. I need the corners to light up white when driving and then switch to flashing orange when indicating. I did find a kit on the internet, but they're T20 or T25, not sure if I can make it work since the standard turnsignal bulbs are a T10 I believe, correct me if I'm wrong :)
  14. Hi, I'm looking for some switchback LED bulbs to light up the headlight corners of my MB9, does anyone know a good kit? Preferably a kit with resistors and everything in it, just plug and play. I believe the turnsignal bulbs are T10's, Does anyone have a specific bulb or kit that they recommend?
  15. Thank you! Can the ones one the doors just be pried off with a plastic tool or do they have screws on the inside??
  16. Thanks dude, those are custom made, I used to have the big OEM foglights, but decided to sell them. Basically, what i did was get one of those plastic covers for the bumper from a scrapyard, drilled holes in them for the DRL/foglight unit (just got em from wish, they're not the best quality though. The inner foglights gave up. Still looking for better ones) ran some new wires to a button in the dash and wired the inner light up to the existing fog light harness.
  17. Also going to be scoring some new license plates this weekend and finally get rid of the old dirty and worn ones. Theres still loads more to be done, thinking about wheel spacers and a more agressice stance. Maybe some camber.
  18. Hey guys, it's been some time and I'm proud to say that a lot has been done. Some things didnt really work out. But most of it did. Some of ehich were surprisingly easy. Here are some pictures of what Hinata looks like right now Here's a list of most things that have been done since the last time I posted : Roofrack VTi skirts and front lip Proper winter tyres Restored headliner (black) Fixed the little dash clock Major cleaning, polishing and waxing New floor mats Strutbar Started making preparations for a mini-me swap New dent free bonnet Respray of various parts Did get a start engine push button and killswitch but sadly it was causing issues so I had to remove it, might redo it sometime. Custom Low-pass subwoofer-ish speaker A-pillar Tweeters! Yaaaay! Other bits and bobs here and there. I dont remember correctly cause I've been super busy with the deck :) Im trying to figure out how to remove the exterior trim strips, i would like to restore them using paint. Or keep em on there and treat them with some plastic conditioner and protectant. If anyone has any tips, let me know.
  19. Found em, they're produced by a company called Maxpeedingrods.com , they used to be for sale on amazon but not anymore I believe. It's just their EG set. They come with spacers and everything so you should be good
  20. I don't know a specific brand, but they're about 270 euro's from some german ebay kinda site. I could look up the link to the product. They feel amazing compared to the s**tty coilovers I had before. They also have an adjustable pre-load which is awesome since I like my springs a little stiffer than usual.
  21. Thanks bro! Did come with those rare OEM headlights, but I decided to sell them for a pretty penny and go for a more modern look. I just like it more this way.
