Jayhoath83
The wheels look good dude but i think on a dark car ya need bright wheels or very least bronze but thats just my opinion
ickis86
yeah i hear ya, thinking of blacking out the entire car eventually, and blacks a bit more stealth

ickis86
Taking a few minutes to sort the grill out, mandatory mod for these cars. Going grey for the badge, black for the chrome, just in primer tonight, will black and laquer it later. Rather than paint the grill i'm just letting it soak in black trim restorer. Slapped it on heavy and letting it soak in. Should hold up for a while if it absorbs properly.Despite recently being diagnosed with arthritis i'm off to sea to rebuild 2 diesel generators on a ship for 5 weeks on saturday. Get a nice bit of cash to inject into the project and will keep me good while i wait at home starting my proper treatment, so this is it for now. My minds going back to turboing it now, just poor timing with my s**gged joints and not being able to work as much, but i'll get there eventually. Should make some good progress on this project for spring anyway.
KiNK43
Looking good man. Grill makes the car once the chrome gone
ickis86
just waiting for the lacquer to dry now. Think it looks good leaving the grill part bare, didnt want the hassle of trying to rub down all the corners and edges for painting and then screw it up somehow lol
