Cool.. I think that's the way to go.

I've been told you can feed say bit of rope through spark plug hole. Fill up the cylinder so the valves dont fall and do them that way. Better with head off tho.

ye man, well i got phil and grant coming over to help me as i've never taken an engine apart before so i need their knowledge to help, lots of people have said that the D series engines are easy to do etc, but would rather have people there that know what there doing :D

 

will be starting to strip down the bay when i get up today about 2 ish so it should be ready for painting friday!!

nah heads coming off either way haha

 

ye did it last year i think it was, but i didn't lacquer, so this time i am!! plus more wire tucking and no ABS!! its going to look clean haha

Really wouldnt trust the string way, compressed air if avoiding taking the head off.

Did you do the bay awhile ago?

I wasn't recommending it. Someone told me that's how they did there's that's all.

yeah I seen the adapter to use air. Good stuff.
