mcjacko1987
Balmuir garage, Chester Road, gresford, wrexham. They said it was a 500bhp capable roller. But afterwards I was speaking to some on Facebook and apparent they admitted it can only take 300. An st running 450bhp on some rollers elsewhere only made 250bhp there apparently lol
mcjacko1987
Been a bit quiet this month lol but I have ordered a couple of bits. Ordered some tinted climair wind deflectors, took a gamble with ordering some mud flaps (will see how they look but it's something I've changed my mind about severall times now so thought do it, no harm in trying) they are in gloss black so won't look stupid. Also I bought a cmax slam pannel cover and it's being painted as we speak. And it's not a rattle can job this time. Should look lovely when done I know the cmax one isn't needed for face-lift but my one will involve to much prep as it's quite rough in places now. So thought for £14 saves me time cutting the original and sanding etc. So by end of next week there should be a picture update
mcjacko1987
Wind deflectors arrived today. They add a nice little touch and feel like a tad more privacy in the car. Also another video for you.... a mate took this when we finished work. Couldn't get no traction though as it was a freezing cold night lol. https://youtu.be/r6ppCJIlQJE
mcjacko1987
Ok so here's some progress pics of the cmax slam pannel cover. I had a mate do it this time with a proper set up. I used rattle cans last time and although the job was fine, over time it has gone rough and bubbly like it wants to peel. Now my mated painted some 106 gti alloys in frozen white and he had some spare so I asked him if he fancied this job and he did. For a few cans of strongbow it's a very good cheap job lol. Anyways progress pics.... Also there's a sneaky bit of blue pearl in there if you can see it. I collect it on Monday and not seen it since it was in its packet so look forward to that. Also I've ordered some of the alloy engine bay dressing screws in blue. So will go in nicely with this
mcjacko1987
Few more pics I've been sent of my cover now it's dried. Can see a bit of the blue pearl on this one... Think he's done a very good job. And all for the price of a few strongbow lol. I will have to get him to do same for my engine cover lol. Engine bay should have a nice few bits next week then. Should be a busy week on my thread :
mcjacko1987
So the slam pannel cover is now in my hands. I've added a couple of stickers to it. Also bought some engine bay dressing up screws. And received my mud flaps. Been in 2 minds about flaps for ages but thought I may as well give them a try. Wasn't keen at first but they have grown on me. Especially when I added a sticker. Do think she suits them quite well tbh. Next update should be Sunday when I get that engine bay done.

Dave
Cracking job on the slam panel cover, looks really good mate! I'm the same about them mudflaps, can't decide whether I want them on the FN2. Got a set for the FN1 and went off them quickly so took em back off. Think it just depends on the type, mine were those "Rally flaps". Think they were too OTT. Yours look good though! Where did you get those?
