exactly the same problem as me! think its the air con pipe. I also had to move it out of the way like that but I don't think there is a way of fastening the screw back unless you removed that padding, but the padding will prevent the metal pipe rubbing on the metal brace.

 

 

What did you do to your's then Craig did you just leave it like that in the air or put it somewhere else ?

It is a air con pipe and no I wouldn't say it would rub as its fixed to the body just in front of the strut and also has the foam protection

 

 

you reckon it will be ok to take the foam protection off..there are no heat issues with it ?

just leave it where it is with the protection stuff on.

 

Not sure without looking first hand but cant you push pipe to the left and under bracket?? And leave it unbolted, not like its carrying any weight..

 

the pipe wont move that far is pretty stiff

A few teaser pics..I got the engine bay washed the other day for only £5 and the guy did a brilliant job as it was very dirty but after his wash looked like new :)
