Dc2 front with OEM bumper might be the way to go if i was doing this!!! As said so many varied opinions on this... Shows the capabilities of this forum... So many different views aired in one thread but all accepting each others views!! Great stuff C5!!!

right little update i have just been told that most of my parts were sent out yesterday!! just waiting for an email back to see when they are meant to arrive time to clear out the shed!! i'll post up a picture of what came when it comes

Must just be hat thing! Yeah, I always think "It could only happen to me" like you do! I have to keep it because of the work I've already put into it! Would be a shame to see it go to waste! Plus I don't think my credibility on Civic5 can withstand another non-Honda scenario

I get to use this new abbreviation i learnt now!! IIRC ( ) under steering wheel under dash is yellow wire and plug that isnt connected to anything (sits in a dummy connector) pull it out and put an unfolded (straight) paperclip in each pin hole (should be two)... Hold paperclips together and switch ignition on... When the SRS light goes off after about 6 seconds hold paperclips apart... In about 4 seconds SRS light will come back on again, when it does, hold paperclips together again... Disconnect the paperclips again when the SRS light next goes out... After 4 seconds the SRS light should blink twice... Turn off ignition, remove paperclips and replace wire... After about 30 seconds switch engine on and the light should go off after 6 seconds as is normal!! Hope this helps, unless you already know how to do it, which then i would have just wasted 5 minutes of my time typing this out haha!!! Oh well lol

When you bleed the brakes work from the furthest away from the master cylinder forwards; 1st N/S/R, 2nd O/S/R, 3rd N/S/F, 4th O/S/F.

Wheels arrived! Not quite all the same as in the photos, all the cast ally centres will need brushing/sanding and the rims look gdjust need a polish and the lips need wire brush with sealant but going to look epic! More pics to come!

OH MY! I must have those headlights!!! Some awesome stuff going here bud, especially the arches! It's funny how your wheels recently got damaged as mine has too. Buckled and cracked but not repairable So I hope to get new wheels before Japfest!

On another note, just drove back from the gym, what should've been a 10 minute drive turned into a 20. Ha almost don't want to name the car because I hate them so much, but an old megane sport gave it some at the lights. I'm afraid I couldn't resist. Where I llive, there's about a mile and a half of lights every couple of hundred metres. Was great fun, although the dumb ass driver wouldn't give up, I was even short shifting into second and still getting to the lights first. Absolutely loving the deck at the moment. How I've survived so long with no vtec in my life I've no idea :-D

I couldn't wait another day to fit the wheel so I thought f**k it, fit it today and worry about the SRS light another day! I gotta say this has to be one of the best mods on my car yet! I cannot stop looking at it when driving

Will be going into work sunday for a few hours and getting the rust and corrosion off the wheels, then use a paint thinner to get all traces of paint off, i will then drill the new holes, been considering getting the original holes welded up so its flush i dont know how easy it will be. Also they dont fit on our medium size lathe soo if i can get away with it ill put them on one of the cnc machines! Mate at work suggested i should paint the square flat bits gold the rest of the centre black, i think i should do just black... And ordered the new spigot rings

Yes, i can't wait...that's why i'm killing time with photoshopping I have the wheels now, but i need to save some extra cash for the high gloss polishing. Cheapest price i found is around £ 330,00...!!!

I must admit I do like the dc2 front end but the parts are a bit expensive and harder to come by. Might be worth it if the eg front goes well as a possibility for another deck. I've seen some people have done an mg zs front end swap before but I don't like it personally
