Took inspiration from ammarbm's MB2 for my Civic5 sticker placement. But for the other side I decided to use the "I Heart My MB" sticker instead. And a couple of photos because why not? The spare Civic5 sticker will be going on the MB3 by the way.4 points

Yes, I usually just use a wire brush wheel on the drill machine. I then polish with sandpaper and those sandpaper pads to get the real effect. For instance the VTEC solenoid and the engine mount were done only with the pads and sandpaper, the bolts and nuts only with the wire brush wheel. Yeah, we have a workshop (will make some pics on sunday) that we rent for 300€, but there is 3 of us, so only 100€ a month, which is not that expensive I think. We also have a lot of tools there from the workshop owner.2 points

Where's the new project "Not going to mod it too much but might do by accident and need another daily!" thread?2 points

Yeah I'm a bit excited actually. Don't know why it's not gonna break any records but I am enjoying doing bits on the car even if I haven't drove it really in about a month. Tonight I thought I'd jump on the band wagon as it seems to be mod of choice. Jdm style tail lights. The eg just had the outers lit as tail/brakes. One inner was blocked off and the other was a fog lamp. I now have the inners as tail lights too and the drivers inner still acts as fog lamp using dual filament bulb. Test fit wiring. Old vs new After drilling blocked light socket. Also painted strut brace and found A bracket to hold the super lengthy dc2 throttle cable2 points

Bore is the diameter of the pipe ,so like you said before the bore maybe 2 inch. 2.25 inch 2.5 inch Or if you have big power like me 3inch Basic the bore size is how big the hole in the pipe is1 point
-
I would go 2.25 but if its just the back box then it's not going to make to much of a dif , as for power loss if it does you are not going to notice 1-3bhp on a small engine you not going to feel it . It's all down to how the new back box flows as to loss or not Nick just answered lol1 point
-
When you say inlet do you mean the tailpipe or the actual exhaust bore? Downpipe is the pipe from the manifold where it becomes one pipe. B pipe/middle pipe is the piece from the cat to the back box1 point

Think it's best too yer there are a few things you can poss get away with ,but do you really want to spend all that money and drive around thinking if any what so ever happens you loose the lot . Also if things go bad and they say well your insurance is void coz you never told them could be bad you would be driving with out insurance now that's not going to go down well1 point

That's exactly how it went for me. Except the 18 months bit, I've only been here since November.1 point

MB3 mani would need to go as it is a catifold (manifold and cat in one) not a manifold so Sir Little Nick Esq's suggestion sounds the best route..1 point

You're exhaust bore is smaller than MB6 so no it won't, you'd have to start by replacing the mani for one with the same size collector as MB6 (1.7" iirc) then use an MB6 cat or decat.1 point

It definitely is, it might not be my cuppa t but I love what you're doing.1 point

I think you'll want to delete this topic mate, as it'll likely result in a ban, as you dont have enough posts to become a vip and sell here.1 point

I just thought I should update with this... With much sadness and regret, I have sold my MB. She was just sat on my driveway collecting, so thought it was better for her to be sold on. Luckily, my friend was wanting a project - so it's gone to him . I have recommended the site to him.. You haven't seen the last of Rhonda yet, sorry! (Yes, she was named Rhonda. Not my decision, I promise)1 point
