Cheers guys! I really do regret to this day selling the 4g, it was running a d16z6 on carbs with vtec on a switch, went like a rocket! But it was getting to the stage where it needed a lot spending, I'd had the rust patched up when I bought it and I don't think it was done very well as it was starting to creep back in. All this whilst having a baby meant I had to get shot before too much rust came back to sell it. This is the 180 2.5 v6, really is a lovely car, the honda chassis works beautifully with the big lazy v in it, throw it into a corner in any gear and it just pulls you out, I was getting tired of having to rev the little D-series so much to make progress as a daily, this just slips up through the gears. Returning me a good solid 30mpg too and I don't really go easy on it haha, I was expecting much worse from a 2.5ltr. Wheels are dare dr-rs's, 4x100 hubs on these so it's really hard to find nice 17's but these came up cheap and I feel they really suit it, 17x7.5 et35, fill the arches great but they came with 215/40 tyres which are a little wide and were scraping the rear arches so I rolled those, fronts fitted fine.2 points

He bought it as an unfinished project, everything working just thrown together. He's currently having an engine built at chevron Motorsport, aiming for high(ish) compression and high boost hoping around the 550 mark. Can't wait till that's done!1 point

Little update. Car has now had a new dizzy cap, rotor arm, plugs, timing belt and oil change. So a fair bit spent this month. And now she's had her wheels and front grill done in white and I think she looks great. Especially as she's had a nice detail ready for the mimms meet next week. Anyhoo enough chit chat now for photos And a reflection shot of meee1 point

Quite a few hes on a ap racing paddle clutch and queef gear set but the synchro's are starting to go in 3rd again. My other mate has a pulsar married to an audi quattro box and 4wd system,,,that is rediculous. did an 11.6 quarter with around 300bhp.1 point

Pull the stereo cage out if you haven't already, it gives you direct access under the bulb. Otherwise you might have to employ the help of someone with smaller hands.1 point

Cool! I need to order new ones for the Rota's, my ally ones are shagged already! Then I'll just use covers for my OEM ones!1 point

I always reference Tom's car in these situations as it's lowered on MGZS with 10mm lower front forks, 205/40/17 tyres and a slight arch roll. It sits very nicely and is stuffed to the brim on a regular basis.1 point

Couldn't resist taking pictures after a spirited night time drive. No JDM conversion yet, but this is pretty good motivation.1 point

Speaking of said subwoofer, I don't think I've ever posted it on here. It's a Vibe CBR-10, sounded great in my mate's Starlet before he sold it to me. Should sound great in my MB6 with the rest of my audio setup.1 point

Give it a few extra coats of lacquer too, it'll darken the colour a bit more. Also I couldn't resist taking a couple of pictures whilst I went out for food.1 point
