Had a turbo mr2 last time. Was very quick, but a lot of hassle. Had a lot of things go wrong with it. But I'm going for probs a very clean 99 n/a one and then the turbos just bolt on to them so do that. And make sure everything's done right. When I get it il stick it up on the forum. Never leave this forum, you guys are just to nice5 points

So this update was ment to happen before japfest but in the end I ran out of time. so have changed a couple things on my mb only small stuff but still cool. Starting with the plastic bit bellow the windscreen. I decided to pull off the matt faded black version and replace it with one I had sprayed in 2 packed black. old version: new version: small mod but nice Next mod is my side skirts, Thanks to my good friend Adam RHD i got another set of vti skirts which I wanted to spray body colour to test the look. out with the old in with the new. car looks like this now and the last simple mod is. the classic JDM rear light mod which i love and from that japfest happened and it was awsomeeeeeee!! so i will end this update with a nice photo of my M from the day.4 points

Yes usdm mod can be a mini wire tuck if people tuck it them selves but I have given enough wire to play with. Just waiting on bulbs and connectors now will post up a for sale thread when there through3 points

Nice, I really like the scuttle panel, for such a little change it makes a big difference.3 points

Managed to finish the spraying off, fitted a itr steering rack and s2k clutch master. Got the s80 cleaned up and bolted it all up Getting the engine ready to go in managed to get it bolted in place before I left work so will hopefully carry on with it tomorrow. comments welcome3 points

We've had it, all these subtle surprises for us to spot, it's like a woman asking if we can see something different because she's had her hair cut by 1mm2 points

Yeah exactly mate. Not disagreeing with what your doing at all. I love NA!! Massively and the C6 will transform the deck! I was just comparing price wise to those of us that don't regularly have the chance to get old of a C6 If you were to get and set up a t25 or similar, you can retain the vtec and have a really drivable car1 point

It is sort of cheaper going down the turbo route but wanted to stay N/A with the deck. Boost is good but you cannot beat N/A reliability and the main one usability. Depends what your end goal is if boost then stick with the c4.1 point

I used 3 cans of 500ml white primer. That's doing front and inside, I still had tyres on though so, you'll probably need more. Although as you already have the etch primer on you can probably get away with one light coat, I'd use grey if you're going matt black.1 point

Lots of details have escaped me about the day! I blame the out of date sig!1 point

I hadn't noticed those bits on Saturday but they look so good mate! Epic photo too! Red rings make it look really aggressive!1 point

By all accounts becuase of the naturally low compressioin of our engines, they respond to boost better than the type r's! I think for the price of a c6 engine, £1500 i wouldve thought, you could have a pretty good bolt on turbo set up to run 7-8 psi and return 230-240 without breaking a sweat!1 point
-
Yeah I imagine it wouldn't be a massive outlay in that situation, ours from what I read/hear handle boost okay, obviously the more you spend the better it'll be! I would probably go supercharger if I was doing anything like that!1 point

I know I know! When I had got onto the M5 there were a silly amound of roadworks happening! When I eventually got through them it was 05:30 and I still had 35-40miles to go! Thought I was going to be late so made sure I wouldn't be, arrived around 06:05-101 point

I'd had all the jokes & comments. All I can say is it's a great knob to grasp hold of and the extra size definitely better... - On my way home today from work... Seeing it roll over to 100,000 made me more excited than it has any right to! Heres to much, much more added on top of that!1 point

Likewise. Yeah nearer to the end of the show most of us were sat in our boots to watch the track action. Haha no need to thank me, was all good times. I hadn't slept for 30+ hours but I only felt tired when we were stuck in the car hiding from the rain. I was just being shy for the most past. In the brief moments of sunshine I went and actually checked out the other stands. And yeah rain whilst my tail light was out would've been disastrous anyway.1 point

Mandatory Japfest picture dump time! Images courtesy of @Shafzzz because my phone is busted at the moment. Arriving at Shafzzz's house the day before. Filling up in London. Dem sidelights. Whilst getting my subwoofer fitted in a carpark because it was dark out. Jetwash! Honestly had no idea what I was supposed to do with the soap broom. On stand next to Krzys (forgot to ask you about the drill, d'oh!) and Snakey. Sunday morning photoshoot with Shafzzz before I headed off home.1 point

I am already doing reverse donuts, driving reverse at full pelt. I like driving reverse in the Fezzy as I wouldn't dare do it in my Civic. I really cannot see the Fezzy will last that long...1 point

Incredibly difficult choice this month, there's 3 I really wanted to vote for but I had to go for the one that has been brought from the brink of death and converted into a very, very nice M.1 point
