  1. I text Jonny last night as I haven't seen him and he has the only key for the car to start it, he is coming in the next day or so I will talk to him then. I will put his response on here so you know. The car still looks so clean, so glad we had a garage.

  2. Hmmmm weird one. I doubt you'd notice any difference but not necessarily the point. You want the right part for your car

  5. Test the TPS with a multi metre guides all over google they can be a b****r too also to replac but cost like £7 from China so worth looking at deffo. The worst that can happen is improved mpg.

  6. Yes mate 100% people under estimate their importance to the ECU calibration the MAP sensor especially, removing the lambda is pointless it would just be an open loop system and be constantly running rich masking the actual issue, trust I been down that road. Take the throttle body off clean it replace the MAP and I bet it stop also if you can get injectors cleaned I did and helped alot nice even spray patterns.

  7. Or at least better to look at before hand! Just had a mental picture of a baked bean beading photo, like when a detailer shows you rain on a polished car

  9. Get to a scrappy tom get another MAP senoser they commonly screw up and the throttle position sensor also needs checking on closed throttle should be obout 0.45-0.55v and on wid open should be 4.5v guides all over internet. These two sensors and the lambda tell the ECU how much fuel to pump in ,sounds like same as my issue mate. I'm having the whole intake off to clean mate will return better mpg when done.
