It could be the earth on the gearbox. I say this as one of my old cars had a refurbed box and for a few months after it would do all sorts of weird things. I took it to a few garages and it turns out it was when they sprayed the box to clean it up they didn't clean an area for the gearbox earth so it would be on and off with the electrical connection. Worth a look as you have changed the box.

They should be here within the next few days, however these arrived today!

I agree the 2nd one looks like a better kit, it also has nicer welds and looks a bit more heavy duty compared to the other one.

Yeah I tend to get carried away, couple of times I've worked the whole day on the car without eating because I was that engrossed and didn't want to forget what I was doing @Jayhoath83 humps cars, my poor Accord included while I was asleep in it at JAE last year

I missed this thread also! Like the story behind it. Love the colour combo so please keep it as it's unique! I had bought Eibach springs with mgzs shockers and they worked really well. When the shockers started to make noise i thought 'b****r it' and bought some Meisters to save faffing about...what a difference like you say! Expensive but a B road killer! Like your setup/height mate. I changed mine from same height all round, then to the rear slightly higher than the front. Found that it turned in much better having the front a wee bit lower.

on slightly different note, my gas monkey t-shirt and beer holder have arrived! going to pick them up in a bit from reception!! :D

Hi As my previous post said, unfortunately Jonnyricer cannot afford to buy Nick’s Civic. The car was Nick’s pride and joy and he spared no time, effort or money in updating and looking after the Civic. I’ve been told the car is worth somewhere between £1500 and £2000. Unfortunately I do not drive so cannot keep the car and I know Nick would want the car to be sold to a fellow enthusiast who will enjoy and appreciate the car as much as he did. Me and the girls too would want the car to go to someone who would look after it as Nick did. Just prepare your self for eBay there is a lot of muppets out there who will offer you silly money and ask and leave stupid comments. I would advise you to have someone who knows about the car too as they will try and bullsh1t about something! Also be strong if you got a lowest price in mind then stick to it ( the cars worth it)
