  6. @KiNK43 yeah that's what I'm hoping to do but so far that took 3 cans (£45) of silver to build it up, and I still need another can for the front lip so the paint is getting a bit expensive... For now I will just get paint for the front lip and then get more to touch up the bumper when I've got the money! @h4mza cheers, it's not spot on but once it's weathered in a bit it will gradually match like my front bumper has ... Hopefully anyway!! Lol... Have to remember that what I sprayed is fresh Titan silver and the car has got 15 year old titan silver lol... And yeah, rattle cans

  7. Bumper is looking good, is the finish as close to original body work? Did you use a rattle can?

  8. Thanks for the diagram Roj, that clears it up. Funny how I got confused hehe. Lol this comment. Thanks @vtec2011 Yeah I remember your MB3, sad to see it die that way especially you lowered it after 3 years of owning it. You finally fulfilled some of the staff members wishes on here lol. I was looking for sub £100 coilovers on Facebook page but chances were slim, someone had offered me coilover sleeves, I thought I'd wait for something better but at the same time I remember some one had shared a pic of his beautiful MA which he smashed the next day due to having coilover sleeves. Then saw your comment about having same problem, so ever since I'm avoiding coilover sleeves forever.

  14. Oh wow this is looking absolutely amazing! How she sits on those Dare wheels look perfection. Most of all, I love what you have done to the interior. So glad you got your car on coilovers, I had mixed suspension on my old mb3. Sleeves on the front and eg springs on mb shocks on the rear. The ride was awful and only a week later I wrote the car off. You can check out my old mb3 thread if you like. Link is below my signature

  15. Bumper came out great! Can you not just touch up the yellow a bit? It will blend in after a few wash and waxes anyway.

  28. Excellent work pal. I like seeing people having a go at prep and painting there own cars due to the fact it's a lot of work and time you got to put in. But also seeing the outcome / final results. Shame that the whole bumper is not completely sprayed but then, it looks so much better anyway I got to get my a$$ in gear and carry on filling my car. If you're reading this, I know what you lot are thinking

  30. According to the bible, (Haynes manual, max compression 13.0bar Min compression 9.5 bar Max difference 2.0 bar So it right on the limit, I'm assuming it was cold, it might be worth doing it hot.

  32. Hmmm, well disappointed with the outcome, due to doing it in a narrow garage I didn't get the coverage I thought I had on the sides... More so on the right where I can see yellow primer showing through slightly !! From a few foot away though, on the whole it looks better than when it was damaged!!! Some shots of it on...

  34. Some updates Got pair of new plain number plates as old were cracked and tatty. Before After Colour coded number plate recess as well, looks chrome in the pics lol. Fog lights are fixed and back on. Used to have import plate but it looked weird so took it off. Had these blue foot well lights for ages, only recently fitted. They are powered when door opens. Thanks to @snakey135 for how to guide. Took my roof lining out today and wrapped it in black alacantara. Taking off all pillars tomorrow or in the weekend and also doing them black. Nearly 70k milestone. Not sure whether to be or

  35. I should win an award for how patient I've been with modding my MB6! 11 months later and it's still on standard wheels and suspension.

  36. Got TA Technix coilovers the other day and fitted them recently. All went well except in the end I couldn't adjust them because the C spanner I had was small size So ordered the correct size from eBay which took a couple of days to come. In the mean time, I used longer routes to avoid speed bumps and I have to say they drive much better than my old EG suspension set up, drive/handles great and not bouncy. So far I'm happy with them. RIP mudflaps Lower your car they said, it be fun they said
