  8. well looks like I wont be test fitting them for a while, went to try a front and rear so I could take a pic from the side and well I don't have any nuts for the spacers :/ because the wheels are 5x112 and come with adapters to 5x114.3 20mm and 10mm but it looks like it will be similar fitment as my civic if not a little more pokey!

  11. Wow she is a stunner .. Great find in that mileage and condition.. Starting on suspension is a good idea.. Even if the rest of the car looks standard once it's lowered it just looks amazing.. Have you got plans of changing wheels also at the same time or staying standard for now?

  14. Ultimately the best mod ever to the MA/MB/MC civics has to be the MeisterR's mate. Totally transform the car! Looking forward to seeing the progress pics!

  15. Ok so its been a good while since I've posted anything. Been mega busy ever since I bought the MB with the little one growing up and the new business starting up and all. But finally things are on the move again and to kick things off I just received these yesterday very excited. Won't get them on till next month as I am waiting or some other bits to arrive in the way of adjustable front and rear camber arms,a full poly-bush kit front and rear, some uprated LCA's, and some oem drop links all round. That way I can get it all on at the same time and set up / alignment etc and should only leave me with a rear tie bar to wrap up the suspension / chassis mods other than the obligatory rear ARB upgrade. Also managed to get hold of some freshly fully refurbed 96 spec DC2 alloys to go on wrapped in 4 new Uniroyal Rain sport 3 tyres (Awesome tyres BTW).So its all starting to come along nicely. will post some pics once all the work has been done

  22. So yesterday after a nice rest I thought I'd shock myself, the car and everybody I know by giving the car a second clean in the space of a few weeks myself! Here's my blueish brake disc Doesn't look that bad to start with! Most of this came from the track session. Shiny again! Much better! Could smell burnt brake as I was cleaning the wheels! Proper job! Also gave the interior a quick spruce up in the way of dusting and cleaning the dash and doors. Windows are still decent inside and I'll hoover the mats another day.

  23. So Mimms saw the Type R get plenty of abuse! Absolutely brilliant day and the car was faultless all day too! I was buzzing! I was a bit naughty on the way to Rockingham as we left about 15 minutes late. Then I let my brother do four 0-60 runs in my car an hour before I took it on a 30 minute track session! Stand photo 0-60 Video of one of the 0-60 runs complete with second gear crunch http://vidmg.photobucket.com/albums/v354/Krzysio/Mimms%20at%20Rockingham%202015/127B6A2D-C163-4831-80BB-8A8FBC47EEC8_zpshfjdpags.mp4 Go pro footage of the 0-60 runs, thanks to @phill1975 for setting up his camera! Pre-track session selfie, wasn't nervous at all..... Nice scrubbage on the front tyre afterwards! Gripped surprisingly well over the session! Exiting the circuit tunnel blast! All in all I had a brilliant day, even if we did hammer half a tank of fuel in just 80 miles! Track session footage to follow when Phill has sorted it! Again, thanks for this mate!
