  1. Alright chaps and chapesses! As most of you will know, Gayle and I have been together for a while now, and the time has just flown by. Well, watched the Cockenzie Power Station chimneys came down which was a big event for our wee part of Scotland, from Gayles bedroom window. Perfect view! Both Gayle and I grew up around the area, and the famous landmark has always been a part of our lives, so was kinda sad to see them coming down. Straight after that, we had a wedding to go to, and when we were at the reception that night, live band playing, drinks flowing and everything just perfect, I plucked up the courage........................................and proposed to Gayle! Lucky for me she said yes!!! lol It seemed so right to get engaged on such a memorable day. So we're now officially engaged. It's a massive step, but one I know is right. I had the darkest time of my life after losing Dawn, thinking I'd never be happy or with someone again. But Gayle came into my life and she's been such a rock, really helping me through everything, and showed me that life is for living. I know Dawn will be looking down smiling, and would be so happy that I've found someone so genuinely nice, caring and loving. We both feel so happy right now, and life's good! Not too sure on a date yet, as we both have a lot going on with Uni/College, but as long as we're together, that's all that matters. Can't believe we're going to be getting married! Just wanted to share the news with all our friends here on Civic5

  4. Hi guys and girls! I'm glad i found this forum because i have just bought this civic 1.4i s MB2 (pictured) as my first car, a damn good car to start driving in imo, I have been finding it difficult to find parts and accessories for it. When I first bought it, the drivers side window wasn't working and it has a blowing exhaust. I managed to find a whole new assembly for the electric window which me and my old man fitted and i have an exhaust for it too... (but no time to fit!) Anyways.... I'm glad there is an owners forum and can't wait to get involved in future events! Ry4nC. P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong place on the forum.

  5. LOL thats why im thinking of keeping the civic and doing some crazy custom build. The garage has a flat roof so im going to rais it 2ft so i can use a lift and maybe extend the side 4ft so i can have a work area and have 2 cars in there

  8. Cheers gents! The previous owner didn't look after her at all It had handprints burned into the paint in the back doors, a few dents and stone chippings. She was a filthy girl when I picked her up so the first thing I did was give it a good ol' wash and a t-cut and got to work on the interior... I'll pist some pics up in a bit when I'm at my desktop

  12. Not too happy with some of the bodywork so the car is going in for the n/S passenger rear arch and the front bumper to be sanded and sprayed, the bump strips colour coded and the chrome colour coated..exciting times
