  1. Will they stuck out from fenders/arches? They are already rolled and pulled by previous owner. I don't wan't any camber adjustments. Bad for tires, wallet and winter conditions. Previous owner had Japan Racing JR3 wheels with et 20-22 in the back (17x9). Sure they stuck out lil bit but it was okay with stretched tires. I'm looking at these: http://www.nlmotoring.com/Avid-1-AV-12-Wheels-16x8-Gold-p/av121680ma25gd.htm 16x8 Offset [+25mm] (I would pick 15's but can't find those locally with 114 and et25 fitment). I wonder if such "deep dish" wheels fit MB6 without camber adjustments? I mean ET 25 should be manageable if those JR3's fitted, right? But does wheel design affect how much it actually comes outwards? I've seen some EK and EG Civics with those wheels and they struggle i guess. Looks good on those but MB6 have stock ET of 55 vs. other Civics 40-45. Fenders and arches are pulled out as much as they can i'd say. Does anyone here have experience on fitting similar style wheels on MB6 without camber adjustments? Does pulled fenders and mild stretched tires solve it? Another problem i fear is caliper clearance in the front... Bigger calipers than stock Civics. If it needs spacers bigger than 3mm. i think it's a "no go" then. Assuming they would fit, what tire profile would be the best? I have now stock 15's and lowered car pretty much in the same level as wheels (stanced/slammed some would possibly say ).

  2. Hi guys, not been on here for a wee while now since I swapped my aerodeck last year. Swapped for a ej6 coupe which I had planned on putting my b18c4 into. Spent a bit of time fitting some bits and pieces and gathering parts for converting it from a d series to b. Some pics... So I fitted a ek9 grill and front lip and done a wee bit colour doing. Fitted Impreza turbo front seats (£20 bargain) wind deflectors, sunstrip, short shifter, Kode steering wheel, Rita circuits 15" et38, 300mm ep3 front brakes, 5zigen border 304 back box with custom pipe work that I done myself, new number plates, generally just cleaning it up. Was browsing the Facebook for sale pages one day and seen a b16 converted ej8 coupe, local and for much cheapness. It was needing some work but with the parts fitted to it I thought that I could combine the two cars to make one good one. It's a clean base but needs tidying. Has a purple passengers side wing, silver grill, washer bottle motor not working, bolts missing, exhaust hitting fuel tank, short shifter snapped, leaking radiator and gearbox is missing 4th lol but for £900 I think it's not bad. Has miester r coilovers, vti fan blades, aem v2, skunk2 alpha manifold, cat back exhaust with buddyclub back box, skunk2 lcas and beaks bar. Iv had it 3 weeks now and made a start swapping and fixing things. So far iv repaired exhaust manifold, made a manifold back b pipe, fitted new washer pump, Rita wheels, Impreza seats,Kode wheel, centre console, linkages and short shifter, painted wing and grill. Still need to service it and fit my 300mm brakes. Think it will be nice in the end

  4. i have 16x8 ET 25 on the front and they fit fine, gotta roll the front arch lip a bit though to get rid of that horrible lip and the rear arch will probably need rolling to get proper clearance, but i'm running 16x9 ET15 on the back now here's mine, i like being a photowhore

  5. Fair dos. But chips off eBay are bulls**t. Some noob who's downloaded chrome and making a quick quid. That's all. I wasn't having a go. Just friendly advice. Would hate to see a nice car blow that's all.

  6. Just check the stat yeah. Turn it round if required. See what happens. No there is no fit so don't worry. Assuming you've check for vac leaks and cooling system is bled. Your culprit is most likely iacv. Followed by tps. I've had numerous issues over the years.. And I found that the iacv created a pulsing idle. Would raise and drop every second for me. My tps also went bad which resulted in thE engine revving on its own when idle. Rev's would just pick up to say 2.5k rpm and stay there until I pulled off. Hope that helps a bit.

  7. It depends what you're after mate. The C4 has more power and tq standard as well as having a higher ceiling to do mods on because of the displacement. What you want to bear in mind is that the A2 only feels quicker because it makes awful power below vtec so it kicks in really hard. The end goal for properly tuned motors is not to even feel a vtec crossover because at that point your car is entering vtec just as the high cam starts making more power than the low cam. For noise, everyone above has got it bang on.
