  3. I had intended putting my MB4 in the show, but as I had to work yesterday and today mornings I did not think that I could get it as clean as would have liked, so I just went along after work this morning as it's only a couple of miles down the A34. The only other Honda in the first photo Third photo was the same as my first car at 17 ! Austin A35 Forth photo is an Age Class Winner - Renault Alpine and to finish, a Talbot Sunbeam Lotus

  8. Right, the review of it off road, It's quite good actually, a wasn't going out expecting to be a mud plugger, and I was hoping it wouldn't s**t it's self in the first bit of mud it sees. The main issues are clearances. Front, rear and underneath. Front isn't so bad it's just the under tray on the bumper that catches, the rear is the towbar. But the big issue is the underside. Everything is exposed, the exhaust, and fuel tank, the latter isn't so bad, as it's got a cage around it. But it's still hanging down exposed.. Apart from that, which if I do keep it, will know more late next week. I will be looking at a small lift. And steel under trays etc. Want to aim something like this. As long as your careful and don't expect a land-rover performance, it'll be OK.

  9. Well I had a free day, and my local off road center had a 4x4 running day. So I went. Only getting started. This was proper stuck... That stuck it took 3 winches to get him out... Steep with a mud bath at the bottom Not as steep, with a 4/5 inch water splash at the bottom. Went through it at around 20mph... Getting muddy! Pre wash down. And post wash down,

  13. My eBay fog lights decided to stop working after a year so I put yellow tint on a good pair of standard fog lights. I like them but I want to spray tint as the tint film has started to bubble a bit now.

  18. Little update, the list above was cut by about a half and some of the more expensive stuff ended up going back. I initially wanted to play with it myself but couldn't bring myself to take the plunge with some of the internal work incase I f**k it up and lose all the money i've put into the engine. The car had the gasket kit fitted, the valve guides and seals, the gates thermo and rad + hoses fitted. Used to burn a bit of oil and lose a bit of water (turned out to be a hairline crack in the bottom of the water bottle). All is fine now though and after initially feeling as though the IM wasn't doing much I pulled the battery and ran it for a bit it pulls so much harder after 6k. It's most noticble in 4th gear now as the S80 used to chew through the first 3 gears but now 4th revs up really quick as well. This may seem a bit weird and/or controversial but it feels more of a drivers car than my FN2 which is now sat on meisters as well. Everything just feels that bit heavier and planted. Here is a little sound clip I took on my phone the other night, not the best quality and the mic makes it sound a bit raspier than it i. I'll try and get a gopro video of it soon (it's a national road so no laws were broken) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gw96H8h6tRM
