  1. Quick update, been away in New Zealand with work for a few weeks so no solid progress on the car but parts arrived while i was away so I got a few small jobs done on Sunday. Fuel System - finally bought all the fittings and hose to do the fuel system. Spent about 2 hours routing and plumbing it in but will need a bit more work. At least all the hoses are now cut to length. Fuel pickup, to filter (which will have a top cover), to the bulkhead. Return is attached and back to tank. Finally the vent is sent straight up to the cage, looped back and needs a bulkhead fitting putting in to vent to the outside of the car in a "dead air zone" Fuel lines from the rail to the fuel pressure regulator and then back along the bulkhead. Excuse the wiring, need to tidy up the routing

  2. Hi all, new to the forum from the north of Scotland. Had three of civics in the past but this is my new daily. It is a 1 owner, full Honda service history, 33k on the clock and a 1.4 auto. Perfect daily. Plan is is to make it a simple clean daily, alloys, coil overs etc.

  4. I always am surprised about the difference that clear side repeaters make. The orange ones look really dated in comparison. Liking the light transformations you've been doing.

  5. Thing is, I'm seeing less and less civic mb's of any kind going around nowadays, so she's worth keeping as a project if you have space to store her. I've only spotted one civic mb this last month!

  8. Been car shopping. Bought another one. A 2006, 2.2CDTI 6spd manual, in executive trim. That means Cruse control. Sat nav, and it still works well! Heated leather seats, 8disk changer under the passenger seat, Power fold mirrors It's also got Its got a full set of water proof mats through out. They were about 200 quid! Towbar with twin electrics. Chrome side bars Its got the odd stone chip and scuff but it's done 107k so it's stuff i can deal with. Its also just had for the mot, rear disks and pads, caliper, and rear shock absorber. My list has a few bits on it. Tyres, the ones on it have life in them, but, don't inspire confidence in the wet.. Mirrors, the mechanism is slow, and one casing is cracked. I suspect the fold function hasn't been used in a while. Fit an aux/Bluetooth adaptor. Ditch the CD changer. See about updating the Sat nav Need to add a gear stick extension as it's to low for my liking.
