  3. Some bushes turned up today. For anybody who has MG arb or that style of arb. Go to rimmer bros, so cheap. I got the bar end bushes as they were wrecked and the droplink bushes. £17 All in. That's cheaper than one new complete droplink.
  4. Anytime dude. Your always welcome
  5. Really want to get some more done. But all I've had the chance to do is grind all the rust off rear arb and all assosciated brackets, top control arms. And paint them with hammerite direct to rust stuff. all have come up a treat. Have also ordered all new drop links and arb bushes. And poly arb to chassis bushes. should drive so tight when done. Everything brand new.
  6. Yes mate, I've picked up a gallon of waxoyl today. Was gonna use that after giving it a good scrub.
  7. Please dude that would be helpful. thanks very much. I'm sure it will all make sense when I get to that stage
  8. It is yeah, what does it connect too? Then there's a siren where you would expect to see the air con rad. just hoping these features don't interfere with the engine/loom swap

  11. It has got a sunroof. It's not glass though. Body coloured. Other than that its pretty basic, no abs, no aircon, no airbags. Perfect for me! only concern I've got a little. Is it has factory fitted alarm and immobiliser. Soooo bit worried when I start pulling the engine loom. It's gonna get a bit upset about it
  12. I have. Took a lot longer than is hoped. Handbrake cables were a real chore. That was the worst thing. now its bare I'm gonna clean it all down and waxoyl everything. the arches have been repaired only this year. I found a receipt. I prepared for the worst, but my god they've been done so well, cant even tell. The inner arches, sills, and outer arches have been replaced. Very pleased. Drove it round the block this morning and it really is going to be fun. Very quick even as standard. And drives like New.
  13. Been busy today. Didn't get as far as I wanted. But the back ends stripped. 20 year old bolts are a nightmare!..
  14. I got one mate. But impact majig might smash it to bits. I'll bring it home tonight but you'll have to collect I've got no car. Diesels go.e back piece o crap. So I'm left bussin it at the min
  15. I have an impact wrench you could borrow tonight if ya want. need a bit of space to get in in though. Not sure it would fit??
  16. Yeah the lights are an easy mod really just a bit annoying taking bumper off. Got mine done in an evening I reckon. well worth doing they look very smart indeed especially on the silver!
  17. Winning? Good luck dude. Sorry couldn't give you anything. All my kit has moved from home into the workshop now.
  18. What steering wheel you got on there also? Very nice simple design. quite fancy one meself
  19. Just an idea for ya too. I think the arches seem to rot from inside out, now you've plated the inner arch, I think you should load inside the rear quarter with wax oyl or similar.
  20. Thanks guys. not sure what to do about wheels yet. Gonna put the Rotas on see what I think. If hey look ok will get refurbed. Erm as far as engine goes. I'm in no rush. Will get started. Asap. Disconnect everything. Swap lower wishbones, knuckles etc onto eg. But I got my second child due anytime now. So will probably be after Xmas when alls settled can crack on!
  21. Cheers mate, its not perfect. But not far off. Both front wings will be repainted soon. One has a little scuff and the other has a bit of lacquer off. Can live with it for now. But yes it will be a minter when finished.
